Ha!

  • The Cubs are bad this year, but are they this bad?

A car burglar in Wilmette passed over two Chicago Cubs tickets and only stole an Apple iPod that was left in the vehicle’s cupholder.
Well yeah, the iPod is actually worth something. Zing!

And the Blackhawks are making news again, trading for salary cap room and bringing in a bunch of veterans. With the continuing NFL and NBA lockouts, the Blackhawks might be the only game in town this fall.

There have been break-ins at the Schaumburg Park district in people's cars while they are inside working out.

One guy went to the Park District to point it out and they have done nothing.

Does everything have to be spotlighted on TV before politicians sit up and take notice???

Evidently Schaumburg wants to keep its problems quiet and "non-existent" as well.

"It's safe here, honest." Yeah, right!

It's time for Chicago to really start supporting our local Big Ten ball club, Northwestern. It's more affordable than any pro sport, better seats, kid friendly, and great tailgating. Plus with Saturday evening home games against Michigan and Penn State this Fall, it's a win, win. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

True about NorthWestern but as a Police Officer I cannot nor will I ever support a leftist, liberal, police hating school like Northwestern. I will always support the opposing team.

...and if you, a law enforcement officer, try to enter the stadium with your weapon, you will be patted down and turned away.

Apparently they are sure there will never be a terrorist event, or a crazy student in there. No thanks. I don't want to be in a target area and told I can't defend myself.

Methinks the Hawks might do better this coming season. After winning the Stanley Cup they might have partied a bit too much and were too tired for the new season.

Ha...perhaps those North Shore robbers are better educated...they might be nabbed if stolen tickets are used...even if they are sold by the robbers.

I once bought raffle tickets for a good cause.

First Prize: (2) Cubs tickets
SECOND PRIZE: (4) Cubs tickets

You get the picture

Carcillo's a punk. He'll be suspended at least twice more this season. He already starts the season with a suspension from last year's playoffs. Brunette good acquisition. Same with Montador. O'Donnell too old now.

Well that is your first problem, if you are law enforcement you don't let anybody pat you down. You identify yourself, if they turn you away, well it is their loss. Let the sheep protect themselves.
Plus, never support liberal yuppie scum who hates us.

The argument for a Wrigley Field replacement will be coming up again soon.

Why not let both teams play at U.S. Cellular Field?

The teams don't play at the same time anyway (except for the Crosstown), so let's save the taxpayers some dough and make this happen!

When enough north shore suburbanites begin coming to The Cell, the nieghborhood will improve and the same yuppie bars curently in Wrigleyville will open there.
