Shots Fired; Barricade
Earlier Thursday morning and not by the "trigger happy" Chicago Police Department:
A U.S. deputy marshal serving a narcotics arrest warrant in the Logan Square neighborhood this morning fired a shot at a fleeing gunman, law enforcement said.
The suspect, a member of the Maniac Latin Disciples street gang, jumped out a window in the 1800 block of North St. Louis Avenue when at least four marshals, accompanied by Chicago police, arrived to serve the warrant at about 7 a.m.
The man pulled a gun from his waistband and one of the marshals fired a shot at him, according to John O'Malley, chief deputy U.S. marshal for the northern district of Illinois.
Isn't this the gang that was targeted for "obliteration" recently? How's that coming along? And how is it that the marshals can be slinging lead around the neighborhood and the Slum-times isn't accusing them of being "trigger happy?" Almost seems like there's a double standard at work painting the CPD as out of control.

The soft-headed Liberal Democrooks & News Media of Chicago decided a long time to second guess,criticize,and diminish the Chicago Police Department in anyway possible. ANYBODY in this city calling the police here "trigger-happy" at a time when attacks on and murders of police in Chicago and our country have skyrocketed is PRO-GANG and PRO-MEXICAN DRUG CARTEL and ANTI-LAW ENFORCEMENT and therefore, CORRUPT. Period.

An MLD on the 1800 block of N. St. Louis needs a gun, that Imperial Gangster territory, and 1/2 block away from Latin Kings. Tough location for a gang banger.

Article says that 210 MLDs have been arrested since McCarthy said that. Supposedly they estimate there are 300-500 MLDs.
The issue is not "obliterating" the MLDs, it is making it gang policy not to bring that much heat on the gang. One way to avoid the heat is not shoot across fucking playlots.
The policy is sound. I don't know why you keep snarking at it.
Steve Peterson is obliterating the MLDs all by himself. Beware of the Screaming Skull; first he was JPUD's big buddy, now he is trying to entrench himself in this administration.

Maybe the trigger happy marshals will be called out for the freaknik shit this weekend? whats the over/under on shootings? You put a bunch of animals together,add heat and watch them blow that shit up! Then they put in the magic ingredients the anti-white anti-law and order rappers what a mix! When they kill each other maybe walsh construction could lend them some bulldozers to scoop up all the dead animal remains "party on wayne!" LOL!
Chicago PD and the Sheriff department should take a 3 day vacation and let the politicians and media handle responding to calls for service from the wonderful citizens who reside here.
Bet their attitudes change quickly as they find out how effective their gun control policies have been to the criminal element when they try and respond with pepper spray and a baton.
So many illegals have been welcomed by politicians and liberals that very few law abiding non-minorities would ever consider living in Chicago.
Forget about 2nd amendment rights in the windy city of chicago for law abiding citizens. According to politicians that right is only for the crimnals.
There is an old saying that "you reape what you sow" and now Chicago is bankrupted, infested with illegals and criminals, and the police officers constantly being scrutinized everytime they use deadly force to protect their life.
Yep, makes me want to move to chicago knowing that as a law abiding citizen I cannot have a firearm to protect myself against the cesspool. Guess that is why my family left chicago more then 40 years ago.
I enjoy living in Arizona where I have the freedoms to own as many firearms as I want.
In my experience liberal writers and policy makers are a bunch of woosies who when faced with any situation of potential violence will usually wet themselves as they are dialing 911 for a police officer to put themselves infront of the bad guy and protect the woosie liberal politician. Oh yeah, they are very pleased to see you arrive with a gun at that moment but when they ae all safe afterwards then they go back to their liberal modus of operandi of anti-gun preaching including bad mouthing the very police department that protects them.
Want to clean your city up get rid of all the liberal politicians and allow law abiding citizens to carry firearms.
In Arizona bad guys know that many law abidng citizens carry concealed and it levels the playing field.
In Chicago many bad guys know that other bad guys carry concealed and that law abiding citizens are easy prey.
Until you citizens make change to your liberal politicians this will contnue to be the way it is.
