Word from the street is the 13-year-old gang-sign flashing shortie made a full confession to having the BB gun and shooting out the windows of the Piccolo School and a nearby vehicle before pointing his gun at the police. Just thought everyone would like to know seeing as how the media is still attempting to make this moron some sort of saint.

I think most visitors to this wonderful blog are coppers, and as such, don't believe any of the lies coming from the mainstream media. Most of us know what the truth is when we hear about these incidents. Keep up the good work SCC.

You're naive if you think that the media will make a big deal about this part of the story. If those assholes can't sensationalize a story, then it won't sell, and if it doesn't sell, then they won't cover it.
How can you sensationalize that a Chicago Police Officer was involved in a good shooting? You can't.
From what I read in the Slum Times comments, the majority of the civilians think the little banger got exactly what he deserved. The majority of the comments were pro police and aren't buying the honor student BS. The public is waking up.

I don't know if there's anyway for the blog owners to determine what the percentage of civilians to coppers there are visiting this blog, but I'd be willing to bet, that there's WAY WAY more civilians than you coppers would think.
I'm a non-copper. I read the blog to get a sense of what goes on behind the scenes.
I'm a supporter. I'm behind you guys and gals, and so are an overwhelming percentage of the chicago working class.
It's a shame most of you don't hear it, and leads you to understand otherwise. Seems like you guys and gals think you're totally on your own, but that's not the case.

I haven't seen or read much about this story, but my initial thoughts are and were, if a cop shoots you, you most-likely deserved it. I don't worry about getting shot by the police because I'm not breaking any laws and acting like an asshole.

The news needs to do a up-date. So th public can still have faith in the Chicago Police. The news damages the department by not reporting thing like this.
The city will still give the family money for little junior to keep them quiet. I also noted that one of the tv outlets had taped the "offender" sleeping in his hospital bed. Then the camera rolled down to show the kids left ankle cuffed to the bed. Gee why did they do that. Cuffing this yoot was according to procedure because he is still under arrest. But imagine all the crying towels out in tv land outraged to see this cruel treatment of little Jimmell. We might be better off having the Gangsters out reporting the news.
But wait, his teachers all came to the hospital saying what a little angel he is, his momma and several people with him said he din' have no gun at all, dey was jis mindin dey own bi'ness havin dey party. So none of the adults with him saw him shoot any windows at the school or any car windows? yeah they were doing a real nice job supervising him. Speaking of kids, no comment SCC about Rahm's new curfew (8:30 PM weekdays and 9:00 PM weekends) for kids under 12 with a $500 fine for violators? Although, the tweens staying out late probably have parents who don't have the $500 but good revenue idea anyway.

Cuffing little Jimmel was too lenient. Shackles would have been better for this little miscreant. He's lucky to be alive after being stupid enough to point anything resembling a weapon at police.
As far as his mother goes, if this ignorant baby momma didn't teach him proper respect for law enforcement, then she shares in the blame. Listen to officers commands; answer yes/no sir/maam and you won't have any problems.
Who's going to pay for the school windows? His momma or the taxpayers?

Now all they have to do is shorten up the curfew form a little bit and make it so you don't seem like you are violating anyone's 1st amendment rights by filling one out and we will be all good on curfews. Until then, um, you won't see me in federal court.
