Defense?

The Good:
  • one interception returned for a TD
  • one field goal blocked
The Bad:
  • zero sacks
The Really Really Ugly:
  • 543 yards given up

If the Bears can knock off Detroit then I will believe we have a decent team. Fingers and toes crossed here!

On any Sunday...

The NFL has always preached it and thereby kept their sport and fans' hopes alive that ANY team, on ANY given Sunday can rise up and vanquish ANY opponent!

Example: Lowly Buffalo was 3-0, even beating perennial Super Bowl favorite New England, only to lose yesterday to the Cincinnati Bungles.

Example: The Vikings took double digit leads into halftime in their first 3 games only to lose ALL 3, then lost yesterday to 0-3 KC!

On any Sunday...

I agree, If the Bears can knock off Detroit then I will believe we have a decent team. I know we have some good players, but until they all start playing well at the same time, they won't be a threat to anyone else's postseason plans!

The took candy from a baby and had
the audacity to pat themselves on their backs. It's easy to defeat
another inept team like yoursef.

I'm still amazed at the Lions back to back comebacks.

Still, I think the Bears will give them a game next Monday night.

Still an 8-8 team, though.

Three games on national TV for the next games. Bears will win one and be embarrassed in two.

Kind of funny... but when was the last time anyone was afraid of the Lions? probably when they had Barry Sanders in the backfield. The Lions have come back from a deficit in all of their four wins. The Bears are in trouble!!!
