Black Friday Bestseller

This is heartening, at least for the rest of the country:
  • Americans were big spenders on Black Friday–especially on guns.

Numbers from the Federal Bureau of Investigation show an all-time one-day high for background check requests from gun buyers last Friday. There were 129,166 requests to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS)–a third more than the previous record of 97,848 on Black Friday 2008, FBI spokesman Stephen Fischer said. On Black Friday last year, there were 87,061 requests.

The numbers, first reported in USA Today, reflect the experience of gun-sellers on the ground. “It was the biggest rush we ever had. Some of the people at the gate sent their kid running to the gun counter to get in line,” said Tom Ritzer, store manager at MC Sports in Springfield, Mo., which opened its doors at 5 a.m. on Black Friday. Gun buyers had to wait until NICS opened at 7 before they could leave with their purchases, he said.

Hey Rahm, that's a lot of sales taxes missed out on. And the ammunition? More sales taxes. And the range fees? Tax money. And when the well-armed well-practiced citizen takes out a burglar, robber or assailant, that's more tax money saved.

Liberal jagoffs like Racoon Eyes can never see the real picture. They have plenty of protection for themselves and their children. The rest of us, other than the "connected", must fend for ourselves out here in the real world. At least get a gun and keep it in your house in case the animals decide to break in and take from you. Fuck all these corrupt lying self serving politicians. They could care less about any of us.

But ABC reporter Chuck Goudie made it sound as if those buying guns would be discharging them come New Years Eve. What an asshole!

Rahm is too busy I think taking out peaceful protestors that embarrass him when the corporate CEO's come to dinner and ask what's the matter can't he control the churls.

We can only hope that his actions cause more of them to lose their jobs because money is the only thing that these people understand.

Arrests == lost jobs == lost tax revenue from those jobs which == more welfare and even more stress onthe city budget

Good and decent citizens are getting marter every day. They now know they must defend themselves against the animals roaming our neighborhoods. Fuck the self serving politicians who tell them that they cannot protect themselves. These same political master minds have their own protection and expect all of us to fend for ourselves with sticks and stones. Arm yourselves good citizens and worry about the consequences later. At least the good guys will be alive and breathing to tell their side of the story.

I AM ALL FOR GUN RIGHTS. However, I think it is a very SAD situation, because we Americans find ourselves buying more guns to feel safe. We really need to elect politicians that will enact and enforce laws against criminals.
I love how criminals are being released early, because we have no room in our jails. BRING THE DEATH PENALTY BACK.

The liberals in charge are very scared of an armed populace.
The liberal lapdog media (Ch7 is the worst these days, but they are all anti-police assholes) buys into this by sensationalizing weapon arrests by saying anyone with more than one gun has an arsenal.

(a joke follows for those that can't recognize tongue in cheek humor)

Chuck Goudie reports is a man in southern Illinois gets
investigated for having 15 handguns, 5 shotguns, a deer
rifle, an M4 and couple of thousand rounds. Chuck calls it having a doomsday arsenal and the man must be mentally ill.
The same story runs in Florida and the man is referred to as a collector.
The same story runs in Texas and he is criticized for being unprepared for trouble.

Is this a pattern? The month Obama gets elected people start to buy guns and ammo, then the year he is about to be re-elected they are buying more guns and ammo! People are afraid and ready to take it to the streets. And if they do, remember the police are the most visible part of this wretched government. View the scene from every perspective to survive.

Read up on the, "Black Bloc". These are the anarchists who infiltrate "peaceful" protests and raise hell, smashing windows, setting fires, injuring LEOs 'cause that's a whole lotta fun. Imagine what will happen when downtown is in smoking ruins.

If you're going to go with a Ruger, at least get the LC9. I carried a KelTec P32 as backup until I shot it over the chrony one day. That's when I pulled the Airweight .38 back out and strapped it on my ankle. The LC9, the Kahr, and the KelTec PF9 are all good choices.

Have both a K9 and K40 with the older black oxide finish(nolonger made). These have been extremely reliable with factory ammo, very accurate and handle like a full size gun but in a PPK/s size package.
Check out the slightly larger T9 series too.

I'm right there with ya'!

Chicago PD makes plenty of arrests.

Truth is, we have enough laws, but in Crook County PROSECUTION for these laws is the problem.

Weak prosecution, combined with early release programs set us up for disaster.
