Again With the Curfew
A 3-year-old boy was shot in the arm as he was walking with his mother and father Saturday evening in the West Pullman neighborhood, police said.
The shooting happened at about 11:30 p.m. as the boy was walking with his parents on the 700 block of West 120th Street, said Chicago Police Department News Affairs [...].
The parents and the boy were on the sidewalk when a male walked up to them and began firing...
A comment we posted said the "father" ran far and fast and showed up at the hospital 40 minutes later which is odd since he was out walking during the shooting. Hmmmm.
Seriously though - 11:30 p.m. and you're out walking the 3-year-old? We're surprised they even bothered to publish the time of occurrence.

On a more sensitive subject people also turn abortion into another political debate and I don't see these pro-lifers lining up at the adoption centers to teach these kids morality.
We're looking at the consequences of all or our actions in a way.
I mean what can we expect when a 3 year old kid for example has a great-great grandma that's only 52 years old ya know? What are we going to say that the 17 year old parents should of know better? Well....maybe they should but you get my drift.
It's a culture that's been going on for generations and it continues today and it requires more than just more cops on the beat and I don't care how they reach out to the community.
The politicians love this shit because it keeps us all distracted and the attention off of them. So I don't believe they really want to address the core issues. This shit justifies their jobs, their laws, their power. Man if this keeps up we can creates our own army under the guise that it's needed to protect you.
Take the NYC Mayor. He's bragging about the size of the NYPD and how it's his personal army larger than some countries have.

Sixteen year old was shot in 019 last night. Hit in the arm. The beat car that with him and mama at the hospital did the right thing - they issued him a curfew.
Stop bringing up curfew, it doesn't apply when kid is with parents. Just call it what it is, stupid judgement by stupid parents.
Notice how it was written as Saturday "evening" and not Saturday "night". Or even better, it should have been Saturday "late night"

Unless both parents - who were out with the child - are under curfew age, could you explain your post?
It's not like the kid was out on the street alone.
I was at the grocery store after work this morning, around 0200. Not one, not two, but three little kids were being dragged around by their parent/caretakers.
Two were sitting in carts,whining and crying, rubbing their eyes and obviously too tired to stay awake at that hour. One was being walked around while mama chatted on her cell and then repeatedly yelled at by the young mother(?) who kept losing the little boy as he wandered through the aisles alone.
Maybe they should teach parenting 101 in eighth grade.
What did Mauer say about the mc party where the kid was shot?
Seems to me that those teaching abstinence have the right idea.. after all they give FREE birth control paid for by taxpayers and FREE abortions AGAIN paid for by taxpayers..so IF they were 15 and 17 and have a kid it must be that progressive disease the NO FAMILY UNIT.. get welfare instead.. DON'T blame those who teach abstinence.. BTW if the girl were 15 and the kid 3 that would have made her 12 when she had him at 17 she would have been 14..maybe some values and morals would be in order here..
