I have a friend who knows Bill O'Reilly's producers and sent them the Pilgrim video. He used it tonight in his "'Reality Check segment.
Set it up saying there were 20 shootings this weekend comparing Chicago to Afghanistan. After he played the Pilgrim soundbite, O'Reilly shook his head and said, "Gibberish. You gotta problem, Chief. Deal with it. Stop the nonsense."
O'Reilly is on in dozens of countries, so now the supt is an internationally known incompetent.
Taking a cue from O'Reilly, my suggested new moniker is Gibberish McNonsense.

Garry was a good street cop, in a very busy house, during very busy times.
That said, he once was under investigation for shooting at a bunch of street lights.
He changed over the years.
Visions of self-grandeur ?
Then when he got over-involved when his wife or kid received a speeding summons in NJ, it seemed as though he just got worse.
Worse ?
He was heavily involved in our Compstat Program.
Which basically was computerised monitoring and responses to crime.
He became a madman with all that.
Bosses with two+ decades on would be humiliated for sport.
The Det Sqd Boss of the 10th PDU died at his office desk preparing for a day at Compstat...may he RIP.

Read the article and loved it, the author called him out a couple of times Pretty fair standard considering the trash that the other papers run. Yea Gun Magnet - right he couldn"t find the gun on his hip if he didn't have help. He has gone from unbelievable to quite funny with his illusions of grandure (sp?)...can somebody say psych doctor?
