Is it true that since switching to the new and improved color coded bread for prisoners, the Chicago Police Department is paying THREE TIMES the previous amount for sandwich makings?
The Better Government Association could file FOIA requests for the contract, determine who is greasing whose palm and figure out the cost to taxpayers while Rahm is raising rates, increasing spending and cutting services, couldn't they?
And then figure out why some toady at City Hall just couldn't run over to the Butternut people or Holsum outlet stores and get some of the "not quite perfect" loaves of bread for a buck.

Don't give them any ideas. They'll have a "minority contractor" buying the bread at $1.00/loaf then reselling it to the city for $4.00/loaf.
Besides, Amnesty International will soon be bitching that we're feeding our prisoners "substandard" food.

There was an article in a trade publication recently describing how she took a bunch of engineers that design police electronics to a gun range so they could experience high stress. Whatever...then she went on to give her Schwarzenegger-like police action resume. Chicago street cop, tactical operator, trained alongside delta operators, blah, blah, blah. Who would think in this day and age you'd need so many operators to answer phones?

Okay, who's got the scoop? How long has she been on Leave of Absence? Most are told to quit after being on a LOA one year. And is she allowed to keep paying into our pension fund?
there should be a investigation of dv realty. how did they manage to get a loan from the pension fund. who gave the ok for the loan? did we get the money back? the state regulates the way money is invested by the fund. some one should be locked up for this.
Andy Shaw is to busy going after blogs, like shaved, that post negative things about our corrupt leaders.

When your "special" you can stay on leave as long as you want. If I remember Ron Lubberman was on leave for almost 10 years.

Sounds like you need a sheriff like Joe Arpaio. Dress 'em in pink, and feed 'em peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on thrift shop bread with Koolaid® to drink for lunch. If they don't like it, they don't have to eat it; they just don't get anything else. I'd recommend powdered eggs, skim milk, frozen turkey breakfast patties and thrift shop bread toast for breakfast, and SOS, lima beans, cole slaw, and more Koolaid® for dinner every day. I suppose an occasional treat of macaroni and cheese with sliced hot dogs would be all right if you could get government cheese.

Are you talking about the same B.G.A. that said that it was O.K. for the Chicago Police Department to supply officers at sergeant's pay to transport the EXmayor's wife around for medical treatments and doctors appointments etc..? years back, when the city had to buy office supplies from a minority, this vendor had no warehouse, trucks, delivy people , no nothing, they operated out of thier house, and then because of the minority status, the government said the city has to pay them more, then if they were not a minority, so the city was paying double for rolls of toilet paper and paper towels etc. Trust me and if you think this is BS, just ask around, I'm sorry that just because of color in thisworld someone is left behind, but grant these contracts to firms that can deliver at the best price to the taxpayers, not because you know somebody, etc,

First, she has only been gone for a few months. Second, she never did a thing when on the job except brown nose J-fed and Masters getting a position working inside their office when they were in charge. She worked the streets very little and did a brief stint on a tact team in 020. Third, she started some womens group getting everyone to believe she was some SWAT-like hero and is not well like by the current leaders of the department due to her arrogance and disrespect when with the J-Fed clan. Remember good looks gets you everywhere on the CPD.
Don't get hysterical....loaves of bread disappearing had to be counted...tracked.....civilians and maintenance. No punishment.
