Mafia? What Mafia?
- Reputed Outfit lieutenant Rudy Fratto, nicknamed “the Chin,” was
sentenced to about 1 year in prison today for a bid-rigging scheme at
McCormick Place.
Fratto’s family was visibly relieved when U.S. District Judge Harry Leinenweber announced the sentence.
Federal sentencing guidelines called for Fratto to be sentenced to up to 2 years in prison, but federal prosecutors sought an even stiffer prison term, arguing Fratto used his association with organized crime to further the scheme. He is an alleged member of the Outfit’s Elmwood Park street crew.
But Leinenweber ruled the evidence was unclear that Fratto was a made member of the mob and he couldn’t make a connection between Fratto’s wrongdoing and organized crime. He also noted Fratto’s age of 68.
Whoops! Pay no attention to that Outift behind duh curtain. Nuttin' to see here. We wuz just gatherin' posies.

From what I heard asshole does not have to report to prison until after the holidays, so he can spend Christmas with his family.
One year.. so with good behavior we're talking six months. Most likely in a min. security joint.
It looks like the Federal Judge was scared of the Chicago Mob guy. I really feel sorry for you guys up there.
You know the outfit guys are criminals.
You expect your elected officials to represent the will of the people who elected them and follow the constitution.
The outfit guys should only be imprisoned for long periods. The crooked polititions shoud be drawn and quartered.
They should be held to a higher standard just like the police.
Dere's no such ding as da Mafia.
Dere's no such ding as Elmwood Park, eeder.
Dat judge almost sleeps wit da fishes
While I am certainly NOT pro-mob, if I were forced to choose between living next door to a made guy or a house full of members of the Insane Crazy Warpigs or whatever, the choice would be easy.
LCN usually at least knew that you don't shit where you live.
Who cares? The politicians are worse than the Outfit. I'd take them any day over the street gangs CPD can't corral.
Obama's favorite joke:
Why don't Italians like Jehovah's Witnesses ?
They don't like any witnessed.
Say hello to one of the top U.S. Atty Candidates.
Thanks Dick Durbin
Whoa 1207 am, relax this is fed time! With good behavior he will have to do 10 months dude, fed time you must do 85 percent! Way to go feds! Sarcasm off.
Such a joke, the outfit runs under the radar doing what they do. With most local law enforcement looking at shit head gang bangers. And most federal law enforcement doing the same as well as terrorism. These assholes glorified by movies and tv get away scott free.
Sure the feds lock up a geriatric outfut guy here and there for some headlines.
Ill just stick my head back in the sand, or up gmacs ass, if there's any room
Come on ... the Mob was yester year ... Let's concentrate on the ticking time bomb that is the disenfranchised black youth of the south and west sides.
Who's name is in who's book of dirty deeds that we are holding over you.
Maybe the judge has watched too many episodes of " Law
And Order " where a judge gets wounded or killed when
he or she rules against a member of the Mafia, especially if the member was "made" .
Geez, I need to faten my seat belt reading this stuff....I almost feel out of my chair......
Sheep....fargin sheep

So true. The Mob really doesn't worry me. Not much chance of them interfering in my life. Those misguided urban youths, however, have ruined a good portion of this City ans seem hell bent on ruining the rest.
I have two words to explain the success of the mob "Sports Betting". Due the math.
Hey with this ruling by the judge for the mob and the ruling by the judge for Occupy, it's nice to see the judges are back on someone payroll again !
