Way to Go Jesse Jr!
Again, we repeat the First Rule of Holes - when you're in one, stop digging:
- Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. has been spotted out at a Washington D.C. bar two nights last week, according to Gawker.
Jackson disappeared earlier this summer before it was revealed that he was staying at the Mayo Clinic while seeking treatment for bipolar disorder.
According to Gawker sources, Jackson was drinking at Bier Baron Tavern on Tuesday and Wednesday nights last week. Both nights he was reportedly with different women.
We certainly hope these different women were his nurses or lawyers. Otherwise, Sandi is not going to be happy. She might have to actually move back to Chicago with the kids at this rate.
This is all on top of a report of JJJr misspending campaign money:
- A new federal investigation into Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr.'s finances alleges the Illinois congressman misused campaign funds to redecorate the inside of his Washington, D.C. home.
Three weeks before the election, the feds also are looking into whether Jackson Jr. used money from his House spending account to pay for the home decor, according to The Wall Street Journal.
So now the question becomes, who can Junior give up to save his ass?

Is there a single "reporter" left in this city? Can none of them ask how a city employee can blatently live in a different city where she also sends her kids to school and not be in violation of our residency policy? The residency policy is clear, that your Chicago home must be your primary address. Living and sending your kids to school a city a thousand miles away does not meet that threshold. Past city employees have been terminated for the exact same violation that Alderman Sandi Jackson is openly engaged in. Between Sandi Jacksons kids going to school in D. C. and Mrs. Emanuals forgotten wedding dress left in a basement being deemed an "intent to return" to Chicago I think we've reached a point where the administration will never move to fire an employee for residency violations for fear of losing in court.
Emanual will use every advantage he can against us at the negotiating table. It's a shame that the orgainizations representing Chicago's employees seem reluctant to use something as obvious as a threat to the city's residency policy to their members advantage.
We all know JJR isn't truly bi-polar. What a puss.

We have a congressman who is under federal investigation for numerous issues, an indicted man running for state legislature and a judge rulled insane. All are black and all are expected to win. I just cannot believe that the black community is so blind to this that they would vote these people back in. But, Hope and Change might only apply to Obama. On the other hand, I cant believe that the folks in Madigans district ( mostly white) would vote him back in office when he has dragged this state toward bankruptcy. Go figure.

That is not all. I heard on the news today that the Water Department is considering outsourcing customer service to another state or country.
A group of black aldermen are up in arms, declaring this to be racist because most of the employees this will effect are black. Therefore it is racist.
Can you believe this shit? Dump all the white folk is OK but lay off black people and it is racist. I am sick of that shit.
There is only one black person I want to see laid off. He will lose his job early in November.

What he really has is a common affliction among Chicago and Illinois politicians, it is known as Acute Federalitis Indictmentitis, a deathly fear of coming under Federal Indictment.
Some symptoms of the acute stage are freeing many prisoners from state prisons, emptying death row, obstructing federal investigations, giving free bus rides to thousands of senior citizens, naming a minority career hack washed up has been machine politician to the office of US Senator and checking one's self into a treatment program for much longer than necessary to try and stymie the indictment and garner public sympathy.
