Has anyone seen a list of schools that will be handing out these $25 Walgreens gift cards? We have a pretty good idea of what the map would show.
And here's a sure money bet:
- Report card pick up is 12/13 November. Within 24 hours some Tact team somewhere picks up a dope dealer with at least two gift cards in their pocket.
Any takers on that one?
Walgreens could use the publicity at some point - supporting the drug habits of negligent parents since 2012.

If you're too high to pick up the kids report card or too busy you can just send your neighbor right?
Oh and the neighbor can offer it as a service for the entire building or the entire block and split the proceeds?

Even my wife, who still has the milk of human kindness flowing through her veins, was incredulous at gift cards for picking up a report card. She had to read the thing a couple of times. She works at a top notch Catholic High School. They make the students be responsible for themselves. And if parents were as good for shit as ghetto parents the student would very likely reflect that and get booted out.
We have a son in medical school as proof of the validity of their methods.
I would rather have a daughter in a whore house than a son in CPS. Do they give extra credit if the kid has clean clothes? Too much. Keep schooling them in the way of the nanny state and they will perpetually have their hand out.
Isn't Walgreens the contractor for one of the city's wellness plans?

SSC, there needs to be a boycott of Walgreens. No one needs to go there. Cvs has just as many locations in every neighborhood. This idea should be posted on every right wing blog out there so it catches on. Parents of children who go to schools in white neighborhoods are furious - me being one of them. Attempted to call walgreens corporate office in Deerfield, got a recording, followed instructions and never got through to a person. I still will find a way to let them know they lost a customer.

O ye of little faith. They can be redeemed at the arab corner store for .25 cents on the dollar or for a rock/blow.
My kids go to a majority white CPS and we didn't hear anything about this plan. We wouldn't except it if we did. However would this be a discriminatory act if only certain ethnic groups are offered the $25.00 gift card? I'M going to CVS FOR NOW ON.
Why shouldn't it be "we'll dock your EBT payment" if you don't show up?

I just e-mailed Walgreens corporate office. It was a nice lenghty articulate e-mail stating that there are two options.
- Walgreens is 100% equal and gives out the cards to ALL CPS schools even in the white neighborhoods.
- If not then I will tell everybody I can and be relentless informing customers, family members, relatives, friends, co-workers to take their business to CVS or somewhere else. I made a vow to never ever step foot in their parking lot if they go through with this liberal agenda.
Please. Everybody do the same thing.
