Jail Time?
- U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. may serve time in prison under a plea deal that is being negotiated, CBS 2 is reporting.
As part of the deal being negotiated by former U.S. Attorney Dan Webb, Jackson would resign his post citing health reasons, plead guilty to misusing campaign funds, repay the campaign funds used illegally and he would possibly serve time in prison, according to the report.
Probably what? Six months? And a pardon to clear his name in 2016?
Anyone feel like betting on that one?

Will he be able to put corn rows in Blago's hair?
Can he still represent his people from jail?
Gee. I wonder who the democrats can get to replace him?
Even without the pardon, his constituency would probably still re-elect him when he came out of prison.
Especially if when he comes out he says that he "found religion" in prison....which would be an interesting place for him to find it.
and he got 64% of the vote...
Sure Ill take that bet, by 2016 the USD will be worthless. In the last 4 years we borrowed 6 Trillion to grow the economy by $905 billion. Putting that into perspective: Put $20 in gas in your car to drive to work and only make $3.01 for the day.
...and what benefits does he still qualify for because he has this so-called "disability". He keeps 80% of his wages?? His pension and health care expenses all paid for?
Yeah, six months of house arrest. Electronic monitoring. You're grounded JJJ.
Make him take a felony, that way he cannot hold another public office.
If there is any justice in this world,he should get at least as much time as Bill Cozzi.
If any of this is true, this simply goes to show that there is a God.
Can he still represent his people from jail?

Why not? Sandi represents her Ward from DC...
Yeah, six months of house arrest. Electronic monitoring. You're grounded JJJ.

Isnt that "their" dream? Another stay home job....
Shit felon not in office? Look at mayor Marion Barry from D.C.. On video smoking crack, goes to prison, gets out and gets re elected.
Did I miss his arrest? Don't you have to be charged with something before you can enter a plea deal?
Jail time good enough for Blago, it's good enough for Triple J.
--No Cop Here
Can I get the same residency waiver his wife Alderman Sandi Jackson enjoys? Between Rahm's wife forgetting a wedding dress in a basement meaning an "intent" to return to Chicago and an Alderman living and sending her children to school in Washington D. C. what constitutes "resideny" for city employees?
If Jesse Jr. takes the plea then the Party has his wife Sandi or his brother Johnathan poised to step right into his vacated spot as representative, and yes when he's finished serving whatever time he's given, the voters will be more than happy to re-elect him.
The Jacksons are the so-called "First Family" of southside politics.
The fix is in. NOW we know who will take over his seat. WHO, ya ask??? Why, none other than SANDY!!! HOW NICE!!!! pppffffttttt!! Fart noises.
Whhooaa did you say Dan Webb ?
Wasn't hs involved in a certain case in the Shity of Chicago ??
Something about a guy named Vanecko and a death ???
Anybody heard anything about that deal lately.........Whent to a clouted attorney and then died ??
That Representative Jackson to you.
he asked for them to hold off on indicting him until after the election and his wish was granted--- this whole bi-polar thing is just a bunch of nonsense--- jessie junior is really suffering from "bjm"(bad johnson management) and sticky fingers--- he does 18 months at the most....
The charge will be a felony, no doubt about it.
Unfortunately he is not barred from running, being elected to, or serving in office with a felony conviction.
However Congress can vote on whether to discharge him or not and generally does in this situation and probably will easily with a Republican majority congress.
However, the X factor is his phoney balogney mental health and of course the good old fashioned race card, so don't count him out yet.
Does one believe that rat-face Dan Webb would have brokered such a deal for the coppers he prosecuted?
You can bet no matter how long tripJ spends in jail, it won't be the same as the average copper and when he gets out, he'll run and be re-elected for office as was disgraced DC Mayor Marion Barry.
Politics as usual, move along, nuttin' to see here.
Good f&@$ him and everybody like him! jackass family.
He should be stepping down because he committed a crime, not because he is sick. He should be charged, face prison time and lose his pension. He should've known better, taking advantage of the publics trust and being an elected official makes it worse. If it were any of us we would be in federal prison with no pension and no healthcare even if we were sick. If we lose our pension when we get found guilty, then it should definitely apply to him also.
Guess who else gets pardoned in 2016 - "Blago"

No pension til he's 60.
I believe that when the details of this investigation are finally made public this entire matter should also signal the end of the public career of Sandi Jackson. If substantial sums of money wer spent on their Washington Home, I find it hard to believe that she would not have known the source of those funds. This is also a serious ethics problem for her. But, you know politics in this town.
Derrick Smith wants his spot before he is convicted....Judge Brim would like to swear him in immediately
How much is his seat going for?
Make him take a felony, that way he cannot hold another public office.
___________
Except in Chicago, where as a convicted felon you can still be an alderman. I wish it was a joke but it is not.
Forget this prison B.S.
Incarceration is a waste of time.
All corrupt politicians who have violated the public trust should be taken out & HANGED!

Dan Webb is the physical twin to the Jim Carrey character known as Fire Marshall Bill.
JJjr apparently swallowed the aspirins but didn't quite make it to the rivers edge.
Plea deal? Wuh? You don't know nuttin?
The plea is to keep the pie hole shut. And since Nayak the Fundraiser isn't talking its all good for Bronco Bamma's next four years. Daley & Madigan too. So long Fitz, you never did make it into the big league.
Illinois democrats couldn't be more corrupt.
Rumor is that old man Jackson is Downtown Ernie Brown's clout.does anybody out there know this to be a fact.
Didn't ernie brown have cr #'s for domestics with his cpd girlfriends and alderwoman Leslie hairston?

Oh nooo, now i see it coming, another phony baloney bullshit southside minister thumping the bible and banging the tambourine and screaming goddamn the united states ala rev. wright. And taking the young girls in for some private counseling and a can of Bud.
How did he benefit from keeping himself on the ballot and getting re-elected? There had to be some financial gain, otherwise, why did he keep his name on the ballot? Ego?? Was he using the current campaign donations as well, up to last Tuesday's vote? wtf

Illinois is also one of the few states that allows convicted felons to vote. The democrats know the majoriety of criminals vote for them, so the passed the law making felons able to vote. FUCK THIS STATE!
U try asking the feds to "hold off"
on this or that is finished see
what they say I am sure mayor sweetlips made calls too
"Can he still represent his people from jail?"
If they send him to the new prison that the G bought in Thomson, IL., I can't see why not.
This IS Illinois, after all.

Holy schniekies, not only was this absolutely hilarious, it's totally true!!! Comment of the week nominee.
No problem Obama will pardon him in his last days in office just like Clinton did for Band-aid head, pedophile, Mel Reynolds.
Mel Reynolds got a job in a Southside church. I wonder if he was recommended by Father Clemons?
Give me that old time religion.

Former U.S. attorney and three term governor Jim Thompson should have worked to prohibit felons from voting. Learn Illinois history before spouting off.
cornrows in Blago's hair??? funny!!!!
