Gonna have to layoff some cops and firemen and see if we can somehow dip into those pensions for cash so that we can expand the cities law department
Lawsuit, lawsuit, lawsuit, appeal, appeal, appeal, constitution challenges pushed thru and signed by politicians that have no understanding of what they are doing.
It's their incompetents and their entitlements and arrogance that is costing us all.
How about the media get their act together and instead of them glorifying Rahm for the NATO money he saved -- do a report on how much money the city would save if we only stopped writing laws that don't pass the constitutional test.
We're not electing qualified people. we're not and it's costing us dearly. All the law firms are loving it tho

All the gun control in Chicago has, for the past 30 years, given us a City with more murders than most countries in the free world. More murders in Chicago than Canada, England and Australia combined.
Every household with military age men in Switzerland has an assault weapon stored in the house. Per Swiss law. And yet there is no flood of mayhem as a result. I bet they identify their mentally ill and get them treatment. That's a good guess. But not here in the world's finest example of how not to administer health care.

There does seem to be alot of ghetto fabulous stores popping up in Mt. Greenwood. Nail shops, cell phone stores, etc. Looks like East 79th street. No where to go anymore, no where to hide.

I don't know - the media is having a ball reporting that the NRA has taken down its F__ebook page and is remaining completely silent at this juncture.
The TV and radio stations are broadcasting interviews with reps of other groups who are right out there and available, like ISRA, GOA, and so forth.

So true. People come on here bragging about shopping in suburbs or other counties and are mad because someone PAID the rent to occupy a storefront. Shop in your neighborhood;you might save a business.

So an upholsterer and a doctors office go under and its because people shop at target??? There is comic store and a lamp shop that have been in business for years in Mt.greenwood. Not to mention numerous small businesses up and down 111th. Asshats!!!
