Help! Save Me!
- In a strange flip of events, a burglary suspect called 911 early Tuesday to report that he was being held at gunpoint by a Springtown homeowner and his son.
The homeowner called 911, too, but by then he was in control, holding him at gunpoint and demanding to know what he was doing in his home.
“Just unlucky, I guess,” the man responded, according to a release from the Parker County Sheriff’s Department.
No, unlucky would have been being shot. This was actually pretty lucky, it being outside of Dallas and all.

Riot in 3, 62 Rhodes. Burn that Dst down!
Unfortunatly here in Chi the homeowner probably wouldn't have a gun but the bad guy would.....
Burglary?!?
In Illinois, it would be Home Invasion, a Class X felony carrying 6-30, correct?
Wait a minute - I forget myself...
Factor in the Illinois courts coddling of criminals, the criminal filing his lawsuit against the homeowner for "emotional distress & excessive force", and the overall joke of prison sentences, this guy gets out in 2 years, tops.
In Texas, he'll probably get the chair.
So, why am I still living here?

So true!
See another one of those missguided families clinging to their guns & religon Mr. Obama
If it would have been "If I had a son he would look like Trayvon" types the whole family would have been in danger and a high probability than they would be shot. Notice this man & his son keep the sumbag at bay till the police showed up, maybe that was some of that "religion" showing through..................
ha ha!! love this story, SCC. :) thanks for the levity.
If it was Dallas then they have special "treatment" for cattle rustlers, horse thieves, and saddle tramps.
Like you stated SCC, this thief was fortunate that he did get a cap popped in his behind by the rancher.
Texas got rid of the "chair". They now use lethal injection.
Less stress and horror for the required witnesses.
Gotta love Texas!
History will vindicate GW Bush.
In the words of Judge Roy Bean..You're gonna get a fair trial followed by a first class hanging.
We sure could use some Texas aspects over here.
Must have been a liberal Texan, or that guy would be taking a dirt nap right now.
