Ignorant Rahm

Here's one of the most disturbing quotes from the Concealed Carry victory the other day.  It shows just how out-of-touch Rahm is and how much he wants to control every facet of our lives:
  • Mayor Rahm Emanuel said through a spokesman that he was “disappointed with the court’s decision.” The city is reviewing the opinion and will work with others “to best protect the residents of Chicago and still meet constitutional restrictions,” Bill McCaffrey added.

“As the mayor has said all along, the City of Chicago is committed to maintaining the fullest degree of lawful handgun restrictions possible while still respecting the Second Amendment rights of law abiding citizens, because maintaining common-sense restrictions is an issue of public safety.”
It seems to escape Rahm (as it does most Marxists, socialists, lib-tards and lefties), that the Constitution isn't a restriction on the Rights of the individual - it's a restriction on the government's ability to trample on the Rights of the individual.

You want to read a document on the government's rights?  Go read the European Union Constitution,  It runs a few thousand pages and controls everything down to what ham can be made from what pigs raised in what country.  We're serious.

It's the best ham in the world too but you can't own a gun in Spain.

The master of deflection/deception kept repeating the court allowed concealed carry on the same day it restricted the use of cell phones in the court room.

Someone should educate Emanuel on the difference between a rule of conduct implemented by the Chief Judge of the Cook County Circuit Court and a Federal judicial ruling, ordering compliance with the U.S. Constitution, handed down by the 7th Circuit Court of appeals.

Unfortunately, this is what A LOT of urban dwellers want from the government, cradle-to-grave care and for them to make their decisions for them. The cannot and will not take care of themselves.

People who are prepared to take care of themselves scare them.

This way they can sue, and win the ghetto lottery when the government makes the "wrong" decision.

Hell, even Ruth Bader Ginsburg is no fan of the very constitution which she is sworn to uphold.

---------------------------------

No SCC, you have to put yourself in Rahm's shoes.

From where Rahm stands the Constitution is a document that is restricting what Rham wants to do.

You have to think self-centered.

It's all about him, not about the people he serves. The Constitution is restricting the dictators power and he don't like it.

From free speech in parks to the right to bear arms he hates this Constitution. He is TERRORIZED by the Constitution and will use all the power within his means to fight it!

The full deployment of CPD resources in Grant Park when peaceful political protestors want to hold him accountable is just one example. The lists go on. Whipping out old city ordinances that claim city parks are closed from 11pm until the next day so we can "Maintain and clean" the parks. I never in my life seen any of this activity during that time period my entire life. But he'll try to use it as justification that he is morally right because it's "the law"

Expect the same with the new handgun bill when it's written. We have millions of dollars in the pension plans if we skip the payments and that money can be used to create more constitutional challenges, expand the city law firms and city law department. Woo-hoo SHOW ME THE MONEY.

Bingo SCC!

Why is this little hair-on-fire lunatic carrying on about "restrictions?"

The glaze-eyed religious fever crazy-talk of a believer in the true lib-tard, nanny stateist religion of government, by the government and for the government.

Fuck the people, according to Rahm...

One of the first steps in the segue toward socialism/despotism is government (Emanuel, Madigan, Quinn, Sparkle-Farts) deciding that the LAW ABIDING PEOPLE can't be trusted to attend to the matter of their own individual safety and self protection.

Heh... Can't have an outnumbered and surrounded law abiding taxpayer on equal or better footing than the catered to constituent shit-birds in matters of protection in the home and on the public way. Can they?

"...Of the people, by the people and for the people" doesn't mean shit to Rahm.

*We don't like the law of the land... We're smarter than you little people so we'll interpret the law according to our agenda.*

Does that even sound right? Hell no... It doesn't...

Rahm Emanuel's animus toward regular work-a-day people trying to hang on to and protect what little they have is very apparent and appalling.

Rahm has bodyguards. Everyone else has a badly depleted Police Department...

Not just ingorant but low-class and out of touch...

Crooked politicians hate it when the people are armed. That means that when they get sick of being taxed to death by those politicians, the people might just revolt with those guns. That's why politicians love gun control but carry themselves. It's hard to keep stealing from people if they're all armed.

Love the hair on fire comment. Nobody else finds it odd the ex mayor is living in so cal? Couldnt WAIT to get out of here and go hide. Rahm can kick and scream all he wants, he can throw sand, wet himself and/or complain to bho all he wants. If one amendment gets changed, then all of them get changed. Thank goodness we can level the playing field a little now.

The Constitution of the United States does not restrict citizens from anything. It only restricts the government from powers it does not have. It it was the other way around, then that would be tyranny.

I own a firearm, all my other family members own firearms, my friends all own firearms, my neighbors own firearms, even most of my church members own firearms. not a single one of us go out and use these firearms in crimes. we're responsible adults with no bad intentions whatsoever. we like to target shoot, some of us like to hunt, a couple are collectors but all of us, thats right all of us have them for most importantly, personal protection. Rahm refuses to except where the true and real problem exists. Chicago is the most strict city in the entire country with gun control but yet it is the worst for gun violence. Thus, my case in point. Bad people with bad intentions will always be able to get there hands on guns and do wrong with them so stop punishing all the good people and stop putting them in harms way already. What Rahm should start doing is coming clean about the crime in Chicago and about the major police shortage. Rahm, how about putting some effort into getting involved in cleaning up the broken judicial system in your city and county. Guns dont kill people; reckless savages pulling the trigger kills people.

He is also a little dictator in his own mind. The democraps keep pushing people closer and closer to out and out socialism/communism. hey had better becareful what they wish for because the people of real America are fed up with their policies.I hate to see a divided America but it looks to be headed that way. Remember we did fight a civil war for our beliefs back in 1862. The beliefs may not be quite the same, but the constitution will always trump any political party who thinks they can change it without a fight.

The best way to protect the HONEST citizens of your fair city is to let them protect themselves from the non-honest citizens and dishonest non-citizens. Obey the constitution and honor the rights that it guarantees to law abiding citizens.
My wife and I have had concealed pistol permits for 20 years and her gun stopped a sexual assault cold. And by that I mean ambient air temperature. She put a .40 Black Talon into the assailants guts after she had been struck on the head from behind hard enough to cause her a concussion. He had her by the arm when she fired from a foot away.
We were never warned that a violent rapist had attacked three women within 2 blocks of our house over a week. After she fired the rapes stopped. His body was found later in a vacant lot.

There have been signs to that effect in the parks for decades.

We know how much even the smallest rule bothered "Occupy."

"I never in my life seen any of this activity during that time period my entire life."

Is that supposed to be a sentence?

NATO is over. Try to come to terms with that.

We know it was the high point in some people's entire lives. It was just another detail for the police, bunch of loud, raggedy-ass fools to shove back out of the traffic.

Otherwise, it was a profound non-event -- a lot of people who didn't have to be there simply went 20 miles or so in the other direction and never heard or saw a thing, and had a great summer weekend for themselves.

It was mostly just Internet noise and bullshit even during the short time it went on, and now no one thinks about it anymore, no one talks about it, no one cares.

Take a hint.

You (we) are the very people that Preckwinckle's "Violence Tax" is aimed at, because she KNOWS she'll nver get a nickel out of the gang-bangers who actually commit the violence; a large part of her constituents.

You will have to pay $3,000 for a permit, go to shooting school once a week, buy a $5,000 gun safe you can only get through a city contractor, have your home inspected, sign over your first-born child, and forfeit your home to the city if your guns are stolen in a burglary.

Concealed carry? No problem!

Fcking Rahm, little prick, will think of something.
