NRA Lobbyist Zings McCompStat

If you would like to see a man who enjoys his work and is comfortably knowledgeable about nearly every gun issue in Illinois, here's a YouTube video of Friday's Illinois House Judiciary Committee hearing on Gun Legislation. It's 3-and-a-half hours long, but Todd Vandermyde takes the microphone just before the 3-hour mark:

At the 3:30 mark, he verifies the recent story about a suburban gun owner, transporting firearms unloaded and inaccessible in his trunk after dropping off a friend in the city, being arrested and charged with unregisterable firearms - an offense that he can't commit as he doesn't live in the city. But someone wrote it up and some DSS approved it, thereby opening the wallets of Chicago taxpayers once again to damages.

At 3:33:30, he gets in a brilliant jab, saying that it isn't going to be people with Carry Permits that are shooting out streetlights.

***ZING!!!***

No one in the room aside from Mr. Vandermyde and a few of his supporters sitting to his right seemed to get it.  But we did.

UPDATE: As Mr. Vandermyde reminded us in the comment section, he also got in a broadside at McCampStat's denial of a Constitutional Right by comparing it to Bull Connor's efforts to deprive citizens of their Civil Rights in the not so distant past. Framing the debate as a Civil Rights issue completely bewilders the left and exposes their socialist agenda to any clear seeing person. Another great job by Mr. Vandermyde.

I watched the whole video. I thought the the Dr. representing the Second Amendment Sisters (1:36:00 in) also made very cogent statments.

I found the Chairwoman's demeanor to be very rude, unprofessional and condescending.

How silly the panel looked talking about they might permit us to enjoy a Constitional Right while they endeavor to write laws and drag there feet in proper logistics expressly meant to keep us from exercising our Second Amendment Right.

McCarthy admits FOID holders are not the problem and that bangers and criminals don't follow laws anyway, yet he advocates for a Cook County perversion of a Second Amendment with all practicality gutted from it.

Classic mind fuckery. The goal is obvious: Fifedom law overriding the Constitution.

They may not stop until Americans fight for there Constitutional Rights like we fought against the British, unless SCOTUS strikes them down.

SCOTUS actually doing that is a coin flip.

There's another good video around with that Cook County lawyer Castiglio (sp) who says the County ought to ignor the 7th Appeals Courts ruling. He comes off as a real schmoe. While, the pro gun rights lawyer who's name I can't recall stands before the court speaking knowledgeably, extemporaneously, without notes and makes common sense.

Not a cop

They should invite that guy to roast someone on Comedy Central. That rip was EPIC and for the ages! He has my vote as the new "Roastmaster General." Detroit has its annual "fire-starting" on Halloween, maybe Chicago will have its day of shooting out streetlights on some pre-determined day, maybe in conjunction with some pub-crawl.

How about "Shooter" day where you stop in for a couple of shots and drive to the next tavern shooting some streetlights in-between?

Bringing an "East Coast tradition" to Chicago.

Maybe instead of "Taste of Chicago" how about the "Shoot of Chicago"? Could be sponsored by Wild Turkey, Jack Daniels, Yukon Jack and others.

Bravo and well done to Mr. Vandermyde...

The talking point taken by elected officialdom and the media of "gun violence" is nothing but bullshit, deflection and slippery syntax...

We'll sum it up...

*We're too afraid of the Catered to Constituency that we have FULLY emboldened and empowered over the last 40+ years to the point where THEY are wreaking the UNCHECKED havoc we're seeing on the streets of Chicago and OTHER democratic majority urban centers.*

It's easier to disarm regular citizens... There is NO intestinal fortitude in elected officialdom for going after the Catered to Constituents and their Armed Forces.

"They might get mad and burn shit up again!"

Fuck 'em if they can't take a joke... IT'S A PEOPLE PROBLEM, DAMN IT! Quit all the dick-pulling over an inanimate object!

*Gun scampering around on little legs and shooting at every ass in the vicinity*

A man can kill another man in spectacular and colorful fashion with a big ass frozen 'tater in a tube sock for crying out loud.

Will + Way = Done regardless of means/methods. Stop the grand-standing and bullshitting!

Of course, elected officialdom would rather drive this nation to a second Civil War just to "prove" somehow that they're on the right side of this discussion.

Fuck what the history books say...

We shake our collective heads at this madness... Well, us old Police-y types anyway.

We anticipate the whole damn thing falling screaming and flailing backwards into it's own ass due to the resolute fuckery of elected officialdom.

"It's YOUR hide! How much do you value it?"

We think the above can be attributed to the late Col. John D. "Jeff" Cooper - U.S.M.C.

Hmmm?

Perhaps that's what's wrong with this country.

Too many euro-weenie emulating, lefty limp-wristed milquetoast, peck-sniffing professional fundraisers cum career politicians - ardent nanny statists who haven't had two seconds of hard time in their lives are running the show.

Apparently there is no place at the table for men who know what it's like to go eyeball to eyeball with goblins, Skull Men, imps and other malefactors and ill spirits.

The world is a hard and cruel place and you have people turning themselves inside out pretending it isn't while pointing an accusatory finger at those who refuse to participate in the charade.

Who exactly, is the crazy one in the above equation?
"Bitterly clinging to guns and religion."

*Meekly boading the freight trains to "Nowhere."*

To wit...
"Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist... Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak for me."

- Rev. Martin Niemoller... Anti-Nazi theologian -

History = Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

The 2nd Amendment is the set of teeth like shards of mirror glass. It gives the 1st and the 4th Amendments the dreadful bite that the gun-snatching from upright citizens nanny-statists hate and fear.

Life. Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness has been "re-branded and monetized" (slick & greasy, gritty & shitty Axelrodian Rham-Rhetoric) to be the exclusive domain of money grubbing nanny-statists like the North Shore Shit-Ass and his friends...

I had the total dis-pleasure of listening to Mayor Tiny Dancer’s rant on gun control at yesterday’s recruit graduation. I was there to honor the joining of the “Brotherhood of Blue” by my nephew. I wore the “costume” for 34 years [1968-2002] myself so I decided to join in my nephew’s celebration. The drone of the Emerald Society pipes brought back both precious and sad memories for me. I tried to put aside the contempt I have for the command structure as I saw merit hack after merit hack enter the room adorned in their “scrambled egg” uniforms proudly showing off their many and assorted ribbons. Ribbons for showing up to work, ribbons for sitting in an office during a major event, etc. etc. What a joke!!!! Oh well, back to my original thought. I was totally disgusted by Mayor Emanuel’s assault on the 2nd amendment. This man wants big brother entrenched in every aspect of your life. I knew about his views but this was my first opportunity to listen to your new Superintendent hoist his wisdom upon us in person. Pure and utter bullshit is the only way I could describe what I heard. Disingenuous east coast liberal blather would be putting it mildly. The one overriding moment of contempt I experienced was when I saw McCarthy applauding Tiny Dancer’s comment about truth in sentencing. The same Tiny Dancer who hails from the political party that avows “compassion and sympathy” for the underclass. The same underclass that’s responsible for the vast majority of this country’s problems. The same political class that funds outreach after outreach program in an attempt to have the “underclass” simply act as civilized human beings. Pardon the rant, back to my comment on the “Stupidintendent.” When Tiny Dancer uttered his nonsense on truth in sentencing McCarthy began to applaud wildly. He was so excited it took all the energy he could muster to stop himself from falling off his chair. The immediate image that came to mind was of the organ grinder’s monkey jumping and dancing awaiting his peanut reward. The scene brought back memories of my Taylor Street youth. McClueless as you call him truly is a “card carrying idiot.” To those of you whose memories are as fresh as mine, McCarthy couldn’t “hold a candle” to the likes of Jim Rochford or Jim O’Grady. So try your hardest to survive this east coast inquisition, it will be over soon enough and then you’ll have to endure the next moron elevated to head this once proud department.

Here is something that I found useful to gun owners across America.

Looks like Obama should have read the "Obamacare" law before he signed it, OR he was so eager to get "Obamacare" that he didn't care about the "gun owners" clause that was in it!

So, Obama was either stupid for not reading the bill OR knew the clause was necessary to get his "Obamacare" passed, so that his ego could soar!

Wednesday, it was discovered that hidden deep within the massive 2800-page bill called Obamacare, there is a Senate Amendment protecting the right to keep and bear arms.
It seems that in their haste to cram socialized medicine down the throats of the American people, then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D CA) and Barack Obama overlooked Senate amendment 3276, Sec. 2716, part c.

According to that amendment, the government cannot collect "any information relating to the lawful ownership or possession of a firearm or ammunition." This means that the government CANNOT mandate firearm registration. No registration, no confiscation. Poor ol' Joe Biden, he spent the last couple of weeks focusing on making a law requiring registration. Good thing is though, the amendment also states that not
even an executive order can override the amendment.

CNN is now referring to it as "a gift to the nation's powerful gun lobby."And according to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), that's exactly right. He says he personally added the provision in order to keep the NRA from getting involved in the legislative fight over Obamacare, which was so ubiquitous in 2010.

It looks like Harry Reid actually helped out firearm owners without even realizing it. Thanks Harry!!

Obama, Holder Called Out for Not Enforcing Existing Gun Laws

Friday, 22 Feb 2013 07:06 PM

By Cyrus Afzali

A group of 23 Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee Friday sent letters to President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder demanding existing gun laws be enforced before additional limitations are passed.

The committee, which has held hearings in recent weeks on ways to prevent gun violence, again called into focus statistics that show a dramatic drop in federal weapons prosecutions over the past decade.

The letters cite a Syracuse University study that show firearms prosecutions under President George W. Bush peaked at 11,015 in 2004 while the Obama administration has prosecuted about 7,774 firearms cases in 2012.

“A prosecution rate this low is not indicative of a Department of Justice that takes the act of illegally attempting to acquire a firearm seriously,” Committee Chairman Sen. Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., said in a statement accompanying the letters.

“We must all be looking for ways to prevent senseless acts of violence and the taking of innocent life but the best place to start would be enforcing the laws that Congress has already enacted.”

Highlighting the crime rise in Chicago, the president’s hometown, the lawmakers pointed out that the Northern District of Illinois, which includes Chicago, is ranked the lowest of all federal court districts in firearms prosecutions despite a surge in gun-related violence.

What a wonderful performance by Todd Vandermyde. I loved how he countered the argument that Chicago and Cook County should have "home rule" exceptions.

Vandermyde pointed out that in the past, Chicago has always used "home rule" in an ABUSIVE manner, in BAD FAITH, to violate citizens' FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS. So, according to Rep. Sims, Rahm Emanuel, Preckwinkle, and many incompetent members of the Chicago Police Command Staff, poor black folks in Englewood are SECOND CLASS CITIZENS who should not have the right to defend their lives with a gun.

What idiots! That was what the federal rulings on McDonald and Heller were all about! YES, they DO have that right.

And another socialist idiot, Forrest Claypool, saying there should be a CTA exception to that right! Can you just imagine: thugs (robbers / rapists / murderers) getting shot on CTA buses and trains by armed, law-abiding citizens? Yes, Claypool, you moron, CTA operations would be SAFER from thugs if the thugs knew there was a high probability that they just might get their asses full of lead for their evil intentions.

My Question is how come all the AREA detective units were called on to find out why "certain" burglary's were not thefts? And i am not talking 1 or 2 cases im talking 100"s between all the AREAS.

Is Jersey shore thinking Dicks are goin to classify all those cases to downgraded theft which will then not be followed up on?

When McCarthy got here, he must have gone straight from the airport to St. Sabina's to render obeisance to the rev/crime establishment.

In return, some "Aldermanic Black Caucus" is now "putting McCarthy on notice that he has to somehow stop the killings committed by wild-ass people who can't wait to get out the door and do another one, or McCarthy will be in big trouble."

As I write, local "news radio" is running a story about a puppy that was taken from a pet store in Springfield? two weeks ago?

"The puppy is mostly white with gray markings."

That's good. Falling down a little on descriptions when it comes to violent offenders, though...

Just a thought here for now. Mr. Vandermyde suggested warrant less searches and and suspension of 1st Amendment free speech for residents of Englewood. Brilliant analogy. Members of the panel suggested in essence, home rule for Chicago and Cook County, in effect superseding Federal law and the Constitution of the U.S. If they could (and would) attempt this, couldn't we then vote by precinct whether or not to adopt their policy or remain within the protection of the U.S. constitution? It's the same as voting a precinct wet or dry. Specific precincts could then supersede the city and county law.
Like I said, just a thought.

The liberal democrats who are strongly anti gun have recently stated that the US Supreme Court decision that stated the Second Amendment is an individual right and not a collective right was not a 9-0 decision but a 5-4 decision and will be overturned once Obama appoints someone to the court. They will try very hard over the next four years at a total civilian weapon ban and confiscation. This would cause havoc in this country and make many honest citizens into criminals. What would be next? Police officers leaving their firearms at the station and prohibited from off-duty carry? I have heard that proposal a few times back in the 70's and 80's.

I dont think it will be that soon, but I wouldd say that if Chicago has another bad violent summer, McCarthy will be gone by the end of the year. And, is it his fault? No, I do not think so. I dont think anyone could hold that job in this town and do any better. Bratten, the most revered police chief in the country who ran NY and LA successfully, said McCarthy is one of the best chiefs in the country. Bratten also stated on more then one occasion he would not take the job in Chicago because of the impossible political atmosphere. Who would we get next? I am sure the cry from the city counsel would be loud and clear for a black to take the job and most likely an insider, although not guarenteed. So, start looking around as to who would get the job, how well you think they would do and if you would enjoy working for them. I really do not think you will be pleased with what you come up with. Nothing but merit political hacks here who have not had an original thought in 30 years and you know it. And, you also know that whoever gets the job will march to the tune of city hall and mouth what they are told to mouth. So, when McCarthy speaks out on guns and laws just picture Rahm and Bloomburg standing behind him working his strings.McCarthy wants to return to NY as commish someday and he will not take a stand against mayor Bloomburg.

"They avow “compassion and sympathy” for the underclass, which they know perfectly well will never act like civilized human beings.

"They deliberately use other people's money to fund "outreach program after outreach program" in a successful bid to have the “underclass” overwhelm the formerly productive majority and leave chaos -- fertile ground for theft, speculation, and self-advancement, performed in a frantic hurry to extract the last penny, sell off the last public asset, and get the hell out before the whole thing blows up in their faces."

Many happy returns to you, sir, and best of luck to your nephew!

The politicians will never be able to tarnish your moment of pride.

They know what the averted eyes and sidelong comments and quiet looks of disgust from the ranks mean, but they pretend not to see.

They know in their scheming, money-grabbing hearts that they are not fit to clean the shoes of working professionals -- most of whom are polite to a fault and will not even say this truth except over a cold one between themselves.

So I will say it here -- we know that you know that we know.

Looking in the mirror is the most terrible test there is. Some of us can manage it, at best knowing that we are not perfect but that we sure try.

Others can't do it at all, preferring instead to look at their bank balance, or to gloat about who or what they helped destroy or deface or tear down or f__k up today.

Did McCarthy actually make some crack about "what do we need the guns for, are we going to war with Indiana?"

Bad idea.

If McAsshole had ever done more than fly over it, he'd see state protections for RTKBA "for personal defense and the defense of the State of Indiana." Not to mention loads of normal decent people walking around with lifetime carry permits, and very low crime around them, for some strange reason.

Don't worry about Indiana. They don't carry the direct local, county, state tax load to subsidize the Sanctuary City. It's the remaining good people both inside and outside of Chicago who really have a problem with this!

Even the National Socialists hated socialists because they recognized the destructive elements of their agenda. They WANT chaos and riots. They are international socialists who want international communism as the end result. They will destroy any nation to achieve this goal, and the NAZIS recognized that and destroyed them.

Now explain why the number two person in the Chicago Teachers Unions, Sharkey, was speaking at a Marxist rally at Northwestern University late last year.

Ask yourself where Bill Ayers is right now and what he's been up to lately.

Why do you not see that the socialists have taken over not only this city, but are sitting in the White House still implementing policies that are destroying this country and our civil liberties at a rate never before seen?

The liberal democrats who are strongly anti gun have recently stated that the US Supreme Court decision that stated the Second Amendment is an individual right and not a collective right was not a 9-0 decision but a 5-4 decision and will be overturned once Obama appoints someone to the court. They will try very hard over the next four years at a total civilian weapon ban and confiscation. This would cause havoc in this country and make many honest citizens into criminals. What would be next? Police officers leaving their firearms at the station and prohibited from off-duty carry? I have heard that proposal a few times back in the 70's and 80's.

2/23/2013 12:31:00 PM

That's when you will begin to see a resistance movement begin guerrilla warfare actions in the streets. The cops are VERY easy targets. I saw that happen in Iraq, and it WILL happen here when you come for the guns of honest citizens who won't tolerate socialist scum destroying their constitutionally protected, God given rights.

You are arguably correct to some extent.

The Nazis DID NOT destroy their industrial capacity and ability to wage war in order to bring to fruition, their vision for the world.

The Nazis worked with what they had. Remember, Germany at that time WAS a homogenous and conservative culture so there was no need or room for all-out social rot to be a part of the equation...

Apples vs. Fruit Salad...

But didn't it all start with the same things we're seeing here in Illinois and in this nation as a whole?

Stifling free speech and dissenting opinions?

Note: Anti Blog Bill apparently aimed right at SCC...

Disarmament of the citizenry?
*The "state" will protect you. - Some more than others...*

Targeting people who don't support the goals of the "state"?

The "state" unilaterally deciding what is best for everyone?

The "state" cynically invoking "the children" at every turn to justify it's actions?

Sorry... This specific part of Niemoller's lamentation is VERY pertinent to what's happening in the here and now.

If noise isn't made and no one takes a stand, who will be left to say/do anything for anyone?

Turn that over in your mind's eye...

This whole fight over RTK&BA is ALL ABOUT a check and balance to the nanny statists imposing their will on the majority.

Trading liberty and essential rights for "safety" from an inanimate object IS A DREADFUL SLIPPERY SLOPE!

The Niemoller quote is valid given the context.

I had the total dis-pleasure of listening to Mayor Tiny Dancer’s rant on gun control at yesterday’s recruit graduation. I was there to honor the joining of the “Brotherhood of Blue” by my nephew. As anyone who was in the military or in law enforcement knows, we take an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America. They are trying to take away our rights as citizens of this great country. I'm sorry to say that in the 1940's everything Hitler did was legal under German law. That's why we have the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 6th, 13th and the 14th Amendments to our Constitution, just to name a few. Everyone wants to come to this country because we have these rights. Don't let them turn this into a third world country............. Don't let them take away our rights as citizens of this great country.......

Suspect in slayings said 'I murdered someone'

7:28 p.m. CST, February 23, 2013

"Chicago police officers were taking Thadeus Ridley to get medical attention after a fight inside his apartment, officials said Saturday, when he uttered three unexpected words: “I murdered someone.”

"The “someone” Ridley was referring to were his former girlfriend Curtria Duncan, 24, and her mother Cherie Adams, 43, police said. Both women had been found stabbed to death inside their burning East Chatham neighborhood apartment last Wednesday.

"Ridley, of the 2300 block of East 70th Street in Chicago, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of aggravated arson after he allegedly set fire to the apartment in an attempt to conceal the murders...

"Ridley allegedly stabbed Adams more than 60 times in her torso and head, struck her and tried to rip out her vocal cords...He also allegedly stabbed Duncan in her neck twice, smothered her face and then put her body in the bathtub.

"Afterwards, Ridley allegedly set fire to the apartment on the 8100 block of South Maryland Avenue, then hopped onto a bus and went home..."

T'was Hissy Fit. I'll tell you what.

===================================

Firefighter, Paramedics Fund Rejects Proposals On Guns, Disability Pay

At Wednesday's meeting for the Chicago Firefighters Annuity and Benefits Fund, two of Mayor Rahm Emanuel's motions failed; one on duty disability reform, which collects $27 million a year in taxpayer-funded duty disability pay for firefighters and paramedics, and the other to divest $173,000 in stock with Smith & Wesson, an assault weapons manufacturer.

The proposed disability reforms come in light of alleged disability abuses from a series of Chicago Sun-Times reports. The reforms would have required more medical checkups for firefighters and paramedics who receive disability pay. Among other things, they would also have had to provide the pension fund with more information about their second jobs.

City Comptroller Amer Ahmad reportedly left the meeting in a huff following the votes, which lost by 5-2 on guns and 4-3 on duty disability reform.

Holy shit! This guy is the real deal. I just watched a show on the History Channel ( or military channel, I forget) about the Secret Service, and this guy was their main inverviewee. But what a motivating speech! God, could you imagine a speech like this in Chicago? He'd be dragged away and locked up (probably by that loser in 016)

Thank you for the words of support, I humbly apprciate all that you guys do and the support you give me.

I know the guy that got popped in 16. Joe has retained the SAF lawyer who was lead on Moore. I don't know if Gura is coming in on the case yet or not.

The big fight oon right to carry is looking to take place Tuesday. WE'll see how it goes.

I have to testify again on Thursday at the committee about their ideas of a semi-auto ban/mag ban. So if Mr. Drury wants to go for round 2, I'm game. We'll find out if he knows which end of the gun the bullet comes out of, but I doubt it.

I already asked to bring a bunch of guns in and the committee staff are shitting them selves.

And btw, SCC is daily reading for me on my ipad when at the capitol. reminds me there is a real world out there when the city lobsters come around.

BTW did you guys see the bill Phelps dropped on CPD/FD pensions and a chicago casino? 20% of the city's take has to go to the pension funds. Amazing what some conversation over a few beers can do. . . .

That's exactly what the Progressives want.

That's why Obama wants to stack the SCOTUS with Progressive leeches like Kagan and Sotomayor so they can nullify the Constitution through the court.

Only those who have worked the streets as a cop know what went on out there and how lucky we were to survive and collect those pension checks. In my 34 years on the job 97 of my fellow police officers were killed in the line of duty ( I counted the stars on the wall). I know many of them and worked with many. Many more were injured physically and mentally. Spend time with your family. Good for you my friend.

THE problem is the drugs, the fact that there is a demand for the illegal drugs is the cause of the gang violence with the use of firearms. If the drugs were legalized then disputes would happen in a courtroom like most other disputes between entrepreneurs and not on the street.

2/23/2013 08:12:00 PM
this belief is a common misconception. Academic studies and interviews with prisoners have debunked this theory. Most shootings are just the result of acting macho, protecting your turf from others, and retaliation from gang violence. Less then 5% of gang shootings were attributed to drug sales. You can legalize drugs if you want to and that would do little to stem the violence.

Framing it as a civil right is indeed a very smart thing to do. Gun groups in general need to be better tacticians than they have been so far becuase they're up against Fabian socialists who've been planning this for a very long time. Only reacting defensively when a mass shooting prompts another gun-grab attempt, transferring blame as Mr. LaPierre did recently, and throwing unsubstantiated accusations is not going to win this.

You need to be explaining it for what it is--a right, perhaps the most important one--with historical examples as necessary to get the point across. Unmask your opponents as tools of dystopic urban corruption who can't keep their own houses in order. Take the initiative and frame the narrative. They'll come at you with cherry-picked statistics, so have your own prepared ahead of time--murder rates, portion of crime guns obtained illegally, numbers of people who legally can't carry but still do, that sort of thing. They'll stack the seats with victims of gun violence to play on emotion, but not all victims of gun violence hate guns and you should be seeking them out and stacking your own seats likewise with those who could have protected themselves or their friends/relatives/whatever had the jurisdiction allowed it. They might make it a racial issue, if so fire back with those studies showing how blacks are disporportionately affected by stuff that makes guns more expensive (i.e. bounce the racist accusations back to your accuser). The press may be aligned against you but they can still be used to get the message out; they'll never turn down a good story or protest.

Sometimes the only way to beat demagogues is by doing some of it yourself. A lot of voters don't hold strong opinions on the gun issue, those are the ones you need to court--and I say court, not yell at or patronize or lecture like errant schoolboys (this is another area that the NRA isn't getting the job done). Explain to them why it matters even if they personally are not gun owners, in terms they can relate to.

Lordy... We stood up and cheered!

She also ripped the l'il sulphur smelling North Shore Shit-Ass mayor for all the "gun-grabber agenda" money solicited from and contributed by the Hollyweird bunch lead by his "super agent" brother!

It's wonderful when someone else has clarity of vision enough to call bullshit before the dice stop rolling...

Heh... Jeanine Pirro is our kinda gal! Good on her!

As for McOuttaIdeas and the l'il North Shore Shit-Ass of a mayor?

Again we say, there had to have been some really FUCKED UP SHIT going on in those households when those two were growing up...

We still find it hard to believe that McCarthy is the son of a Policeman.

We reckon "Son of a Policeman" means a totally different thing in New York than it does in Chicago.

Coppers are people... That much is true. As with people, there are varying degrees from princely to rotten-assed oxygen thieves and every negative descriptive that embodies.

McOuttaIdeas has crashed himself squarely into the latter.

That's not to say he had any quality seen as redeeming from the get-go because as time goes by, his time-line seems filled with nothing but end to end tales of less than decent and gentlemanly conduct.

Where we come from? "Son of a Policeman" carries a certain weight, a certain expectation and a solemn duty...

Meh... What the fuck do we know?

Just another "dumb, brutal, insensitive, racist, high school drop-out" CPD Blue Suit, right?

*You guys are just angry because it isn't 1960 anymore! Face it! Your time and your kind are finished!*

Like we'll just give this fight up?

Naahh... Not so fast...

There are STILL some Sons of Policemen and Policemen out there who "remember."

Oh how Rahm and McOughtToHangHisHeadInShame must HATE that...

I like where the representative says something like, due to the unique circumstances in Chicago, the government should, more or less, put restrictions on the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

That got me thinking, if the kool-aid makes you believe this, would you believe that suspending the First, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth and Eight Amendments to the U.S. Constitution, and top it off with eliminating the 14th Amendment, would these make Cook County safer? The police could lock up everyone in the Ghetto, lock up anyone who disagrees with the government because the goverment of course knows what is best for us. We will just do away with the Bill of Rights until further Notice.

I like where the transit officials say, can you imagine a train car full of drunken Cubs fans? Are these people saying that such people are irresponsible and need government to protect them and make rules to keep them safe? Does our government believe that people cannot make their own decisions to protect themselves?

Maybe we should pass a law that if you own a car you can't purchase alcohol in case you end up driving the car after consuming said alcohol??

The arguments by the Left make no sense in the grand scheme of things, so there is probably another agenda behind all this. Like autocratic rule.

This food for thought makes me nauseous.

Thank YOU, sir!

NO COMPROMISE. NO DEALS. NO BACKWARD STEP. One inch of the nose gets under the tent and you get the whole camel in your lap.

Saw PBS "investigation" of Newtown, CT -- charter 1803, home of NSSF and SAAMI! Shooters there just managed to table an ordinance that would have prohbited discharge within town limits -- the newly-arrived NYC Yups have built McMansions closer and closer to a fellow's farm where there is a little dirt berm and people like to shoot. Now it's endless bitching about noise. Standard pattern.

The antis are A) pushing like mad. "We don't have long! We have to get this done fast!" Aware of McLuhan's "15 minutes of fame," very limited hang time before another distraction supervenes. B) Pushing "This one is different! This one is going to make the difference!" C) Trying like hell to divide gun owners into "reasonable" and "fanatic."

"Gun control" has been renamed "gun safety!"

We are about due for another "Manchurian Candidate" active shooter to come out of the woodwork and hot this up again, huh? I have been up to my eyeballs in this for thirty years and more, have necessarily discarded whole file cabinets of related material -- and this is the worst I've ever seen it.

I hear that antis from Chicago are planning to demonstrate at the Crown Point, Indiana gun show. Probably some rev will give them all Happy Meals and bring 'em in on charter school buses. That should be a minor perturbation. I would suggest no entry fee, no entry, no trespassing, can't block that road either...

Show patrons -- Exhibitors -- Peace officers -- we are getting multiple reports of antis slipping live rounds into exhibitors' unloaded guns hoping to cause "accidental discharges." WATCH THIS EVERYONE! Same as everywhere else -- never cover anything you're not going to shoot, off trigger, clear weapon. They don't care, any innocent person hurt or killed is just "collateral damage" in their great cause, grist for the mill.

Great to hear from you, Mr. Vandermyde, and check in anytime and keep us up-to-date!

FIGHT LIKE HELL!
