Release Everyone!

  • Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart says the jail is nearly full, and he’s concerned the facility will be bursting at the seams as summer months approach and arrests typically rise with the mercury.

Late last week, the jail at 27th and California was almost 96 percent full, with a daily population of 9,721. The capacity is about 10,150.

“That will become a humongous problem for me come June, July and August,” Dart told the Chicago Sun-Times in a recent interview.

Yeah, and it might be a huge problem for all those actual victims of crime who expect their attackers, muggers, robbers, and thieves to actually, you know, stand trial for their misdeeds.

But Dart is worried about "his" problem, not you little people.

An internal investigation of the FOP counsel, paid for by the membership, ought to be general knowledge, right? The lawsuit posted cited an investigation undertaken by by Asher, Gittler and D'Alba. Shouldn't the membership have access to that report that Shields & Co is trying so hard to conceal from the plaintiff? After all, we pay everyone's salary and any attached investigations. We don't want our labor organization held liable, do we? If our union officials are assisting in the coverup, we're going to get tagged hard if the plaintiff wins. If it can be proved that Geiger was acting outside his role of lawyer and instead acting as a predator, it would behoove us to fire him as soon as possible.

What if we let 'em all out as long as they don't admit or deny anything and promise they won't do it again LIKE THE CORPORATE BANKERS.

Maybe his problem is the cook county board president breathing down his neck to reduce the jail population because at $143/day times 10,000 inmates it is fricking blowing out her budget and trashing her campaign promises.

Maybe, IDK, just speculation ya know.

What is that anyway, $1.43 million A DAY? Feels like the taxpayers are paying for suites at the Hilton at these rates.

OK...

So essentially, Policing in Chicago is a well orchestrated charade based on the appearance of "doing something" to stave off the few remaining taxpayers from opening their eyes, taking up guns and falling into full blown rebellion against the political-criminal media cabal in this city?

Let's sum it up here...

You have a parasitic creature of a mayor in borrowed human skin who glides safely from fundraiser to fundraiser while strip-mining this city of every penny that Shortshanks didn't steal or cause to be stolen...

You have a Police "Manager" who kills grass and other living things where ever he sets foot.

And EVERYWHERE he sets foot, the FEDS follow right behind him fucking-up individual Policemen for said manager's wretched "stop & frisk - sweat the small stuff" Policing strategies that the courts have consistently ruled as bad Policing practices and civil rights no-no's?

Why then, is this Hammer-Headed menace still allowed to wander like a one man gypsy medicine show from P.D. to P.D. unchecked by the Feds?

>Snort of Disgust<

The up the ass while doing a back-bend local "media" have less integrity than the most riotously nasty, colorfully treacherous and low-down of the old notorious Fifth & Kilpatrick hoes.

you have a preening, amoral pecksniff of a county sheriff who is literally running motherfuckers in need of caging, out the back doors as soon as they walk in the front...

Why should The Policeman give a fuck when nobody else does?

It's all a fucking sham... Right?

>Pffft!<

The Police are the enemy... Right?

actually is comming from dirty toni's mouth it costs roughly 1390103 a day for keeping people it's 600 a day for
juveniles. she says it for mostly drug charges and keeping people till trail is too exspensive. it's 143 dollars a day to to keep one person.
http://travel.nytimes.com/2011/10/30/us/reducing-jail-rolls-would-trim-cook-county-costs-preckwinkle-says.html?_r=0 this is where she made these statements.
on channel 7 once she complained that the average for a gunshot victim is 52,000 a case for care she made it sound like to the effect it's cheaper and better for the county if you die.
dr.andrew at cook county medical said this

I worked there back in the early 80's (fuck that's a long time ago) and the place was filled to over capacity. Mattresses on the floor, some cells doubled up, some wings had around 80 inmates each. Not a safe environment, especially when you sometimes had one correctional officer assigned to two wings. Nobody bitched back then including the inmates. Maybe Darts doing this to get more money from the county which means you hard working tax paying law abiding citizens may see a property tax increase. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Another reason why CPS is broke, POs can't get raises, and jails are packed...

Carlos Munoz, who retired as principal at Amundsen HS after the 2011-12 school year, is now the acting administrator aka principal at Infinity Math, Science, and Tech HS in Little Village. Munoz received a one-time payout of $200K+ for unused sick/vacation day payout and used that money to escalate his pension to over $156K/year, which was his last year's salary. Now, he's drawing the his last year's salary of $156K PLUS his pension in excess of $156K at Infinity HS, basically double dipping. is he worth $312K/year? What was his numbers at Amundsen? Wasn't he a PE teacher once?

http://www.cps.edu/Schools/Pages/school.aspx?id=610384

The questions I have are: is Munoz receiving his CPS pension with the unused sick/vacation escalator figured into it? Did he get his unused sick/vacation day payout? And, now is he getting principal pay an benefits as principal at Infinity? This would seem like something taxpayers would want to know.

Please let me know if this is the same Carlos Munoz as I was told he is still a principal somewhere for CPS and Infinity seems the most logical place for him to land with the following considered:

From what I was told, Munoz is the brother of Ald. Ricardo Munoz (Chicago - 22nd Ward) in Little Village.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ricardo_Mu%C3%B1oz

And, reportedly, Munoz is the son of Elias Munoz. Elias Munoz was sentenced to 4 years in jail for taking part in a Fake ID making ring in the Little Village Discount Store at his store (Nuevo Foto Munoz, 3105 W. 26th st - Chicago)

I am all for that so bring back the bonds men . Then let the families put up cash or property and bail their loved one out. Then if the loved one does not show let the bounty hunters go get them. Works in other states. Here? No one cares and a lot of people just do not show up to court. They only lose a small amount of money. A BFW? Well, who is looking for them? Not the CPD. OT

Cyprus.

So...so far the Cyprus Parliament has voted down the 10% confiscation of bank savings account balances . They're still trying to tweak the theft tho.

But Oh look!

New Zealand considers Cyprus-style banking failure solution

[...].. New Zealand depositors could face a Cyprus-style tax on their bank accounts, as the government is planning to impose a similar strategy on its banks warns the country's Green Party.

New Zealand is facing a similar bank failure to Cyprus, is likely to adopt open bank resolution (OBR), which will see small depositors lose part their savings in favour of a big bank bailout, Green Party co-leader Russel Norman said. The country’s Finance Minister Bill English supports the open bank resolution.

"Bill English is proposing a Cyprus-style solution for managing bank failure here in New Zealand," said Norman, adding that the Reserve Bank is in the "final stages" of implementing an OBR system.

New Zealand banks’ depositors will have their savings cut by a certain percentage needed to keep their bank afloat

-----------------------

See that? The banks can gamble away their money in the stock market and make risky investments. If the banks pick winners it's hooray for them they get to keep the profits. If the banks pick losers well just take the money from their customers savings deposits.

This is what you get when your Dept. of Justice lets the thieves go.

Who's next? Spain has a banking crisis. Portugal has a banking crisis. Greece has a banking crisis. The USA has a banking crisis.

Where'd all those so-called "toxic assets" go from the housing crisis? Ans: They're still hidden on the banks balance sheet, yeah?

No problemo. The USA has a debt problem. The banks have a problem. There's trillions of dollars people socked away in retirement accounts, 401K and IRA's. Just find a way to tax those accounts and call it an emergency, tell the people it's necessary.

It's getting to the point where they are not even trying to call it a tax anymore.

The bankers robbed millions of peoples assets by creating the housing crisis and now there's this huge pile of money just sitting there in retirement accounts asking to be robbed. We have to find a way to get our hands on that money the elites are thinking.

Oh hey I know...let's call it reform eh? It's not a tax we're reforming.
