Seiser Still Runs It

  • Four-month-old Jordyn Rose was baptized Sunday at Chicago's Holy Name Cathedral. But on Saturday, she was rescued in a different way.

What started out as normal crying turned into her parents' nightmare when Jordyn's face turned white, her lips grew blue and she gasped for air, struggling to breathe.

[...] "I could sense the panic," said Talbott [Hotel] doorman Dwayne Neff, who would often greet the couple when they left the apartment.

[...] "I looked to my right, and I saw two officers who I recognized immediately," Neff said. "And as soon as I ran up to the squad car, they ran right into action."

Those Chicago police officers — Karen Wojcikowski and Michael Seiser — put the panicking couple into their squad car, turned on their sirens and wove through jammed traffic to Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, just blocks away.
Nice job to both officers.

Dwayne Neff deserves recognition. He was placed in an unusual position and acted competently and swiftly. The Officers were Total responsive...Good job, Everyone and Congrats to the Baby and the Parents. The Doorman should receive an award from the Family, from the City and from Talbot. National planning Cyprus-style solution for New Zealand

The National Government are pushing a Cyprus-style solution to bank failure in New Zealand which will see small depositors lose some of their savings to fund big bank bailouts, the Green Party said today.

Open Bank Resolution (OBR) is Finance Minister Bill English’s favoured option dealing with a major bank failure. If a bank fails under OBR, all depositors will have their savings reduced overnight to fund the bank’s bail out.

QUESTION?

Was there a vote of no confidence for Mike Shields at today’s FOP Meeting?

Was there questions about the “letter”?

Were there questions about Harold Brown?

Were there any questions about lawsuits?

About Geiger?

Were there any questions about the contract.

Did Mike Shields use Roberts Rules of Order to cut off any debate on these issues.

Were there a lot of extra people at the meeting?

A big kudos to quick thinking copper that was working VRI last night in 011 District. Apparently there was a
Armed Robbert at gas station at Washington/Homan.......offender then car jacked victim and the "chase" was on. Offender bailed and ran through field by the railroad tracks by the old Brachs Candy. He apparently had time to bury the gun somewhere in the field. He was located and by the mud covering his fingers and nails the search was on. That's when a quick thinking VRI officer went back to the station to retrieve his metal detector he had in the Trunk of his personal car. A quick sweep of the field immediately located the 45 auto buried 2-3 inches in the mud!! Nice job officer!!

Have you taken a bus to a parole hearing, or gone to court on a cop killer case with having to be there for your own case, or took the bus to Springfield, or marched at the Daley center? If you did not answerer yes to at least two out of the above questions YOUR dead weight.

I was unable to make todays FOP meeting and was curious to what came out of it with Geiger and Shield?

Absolutely nothing. Everyone is content with getting fucked so fucked we are. Mike got up and read the Illinois Labor Act and his letter was well within the time limits in the act. The problem is and anybody out there can look it upp is we have a sunset provision in our contract. That provision supercedes the Labor Act.So the letter was not sent in on time but no one cares. We will not get a retro check unless Mike gives something up like Duty Availability. Time will tell his lies will all come out in the end. Someones asked Donahue about the letter and he played semantics by answering "according to the Illinois Labor Act the letter was sent in on time." I guess when you sell your soul for $75,000 a year you can justify the lie. It will all come crashing down soon enough.

3/19/2013 05:16:00 PM

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Why didn't YOU get up and ask the questions at the meeting? No one asked Donahue anything during the meeting either. Where did YOU ask him about that? The bathroom or in your dreams? It's the same 130 people at the meetings every month and more than half of us are NOT Mike's guys either. The reason no one is jumping up at the meetings is they know what is going on. Throwing mud at each other only helps tiny dancer.

Have you taken a bus to a parole hearing, or gone to court on a cop killer case with having to be there for your own case, or took the bus to Springfield, or marched at the Daley center? If you did not answerer yes to at least two out of the above questions YOUR dead weight.

So this is how we now measure how involved we are with our union? I guess someone forgot to send me that memo.

And criticizing our elected union representatives at a meeting that is NOT open to the public is now considered "throwing mud"?

No. It's not.

But you have all gotten what you deserved. A board that sits there, headed by a president who lies to you every month.

Good luck with that. Keep eating the pizza and have another beer. Who knew you lemmings could be bought off so cheap?

It is no rumor. It is a fact that the devil sold his soul to SEISER for a pot of gold. He runs all things on this side and the beyond!

Seriously we need Seiser for FOP president. If anyone knows money and finances it's Seiser. Seiser would make them run and hide. Besides being a hero, he knows money. Congrat's to Mike and Wojo you make us in 018 proud.

That officer was Seiser!

Yes I marched around City Hall. Yes I marched at 35th and Michigan. Yes I ahve taken the Bus to parole hearings. Yes I have been at 26th Strett for the murder trials of P.O.s. I am even on two FOP comittees. If you think showing some united front helps us you are a fool. In 86 we boycotted special employment and you know what happened? Nothing some guys worked all their days off and maded a lot of money. Today guys work VRI which doesnt help our cause. As for the big march on city hall you know what that accomplished ? Nothing, some people felt better but it got us zero. As for Donahue you moron I talked to him by the bar. Just ask him at the next meeting, he should know who he talked to about the letter. I look foward to talking to your know it all asss at the next meeting. Dont forgwet its at 1900.

Love and kisses,

Dead Weight

No way! Did Joravsky leave the Reader and go to work for the Sun Times??? Isn't he the only investigative reporter in town?
--

Uhhh the sun times owns the reader yo

3/20/2013 12:42:00 AM

-
Uhhh, you missed the point of the sarcasm.
And, since Joravsky didn't write the Sun Times article (because he doesn't work for them), my point is reinforced.

3/19/2013 05:45:00 PM

Could you ask him to breathe toward the atmosphere, then, because it's not the earth that needs cooling. He'll need to restore the atmosphere, instead. Thanks.

Dear Dead Weight,

I guess a lot of us are dead weight too. If you have never had to work special God Bless you. The only thing I worked was O'Hare before I retired. But I'm not throwing rocks at guys/gals who have to work all the time. Handicapped kids or private school bills. Everyone does not have a wife who is a doctor, lawyer or indian chief. Stay safe office.

I just stayed at Talbott for five days during a family celebration just over one week ago. My family and I had the pleasure of meeting Dwayne, the doorman there, and chatting with him many times during our comings and goings. He was very caring with an older relative who needed assistance most of the time. It comes as no surprise Dwayne reacted as swiftly as he did seeking out CPD, and setting into motion the saving of this baby girl's life. Kudos to CPD as well- their quick response also comes as no surprise. :)
