That Regina Evans scandal in Country Club Hills is dragging in some interesting names:
- The daughter of President Barack Obama’s former pastor was indicted Wednesday on charges of money laundering and lying to the feds.
Jeri L. Wright, daughter of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, was accused of participating in a fraud scheme allegedly orchestrated by former Country Club Hills Police Chief Regina Evans and her husband involving a $1.25 million state grant
Jeri Wright, 47, of Hazel Crest, was was charged with two counts of money laundering, two counts of making false statements to federal law enforcement officers and seven counts of giving false testimony before a grand jury.
We're sure the "reverend" Wright is goddamning America once again. We're sure he's also making phone calls.

It is time for the Feds to investigate Regina and Ron for bankruptcy fraud. It seems that they forgot to declare all of their assets when they filed for banruptcy.
If Regina wants a break on the charges she faces she could tell what she knows about her sponsers, who are also facing criminal charges and jail. They are Donnie Trotter and Bill Beavers.
She could also explain her so-called qualifications for being a merit promotee to the rank of sergeant and lieutenant. Then Cline could explain why he was so kind when he promoted her!

My guess is once you hit the national stage and hoping for some big time appointments, etc, you dont take alot of calls from Chicago. You can only take so many calls and things like this in Chicago is small potatoes

Three reasons. Three damn good reasons. Phil Kline and his underling, Marikay Hegarty, took care of Regina Joahanes Banahan Evans.
Anna Langston was once the ald. where the Regal is located. Why do I smell JJ Jr (and Madigan (ultimately) all over this. Follow the money.
For every merit hack that get promoted merit that is one person getting a legit promotion and pay off the list. In affect they are stealing the spot. How can anyone justify giving one person three merit promotions? A federal grand jury should be ordered.
