Another Police Shooting - 004
Hadn't heard about this one until late:
- A Chicago police officer shot and wounded a man as he ran from police in the South Chicago neighborhood, authorities said.
The 25-year-old man was shot several times but was expected to survive, according to Patrick Camden, a spokesman for the Fraternal Order of Police union.
The shooting happened in the middle of a nine-hour period in which at least 18 other people were shot, three of them fatally, across the city. It was the third police-involved shooting since Sunday morning in Chicago.

Make it four out of five. Shots fired at and by the police in 022. Police ok, no word yet if bad guy(s) were hit. Weapon recovered.
The same area where the citizens(, I use the word lightly) tried to tip over an ambulance.
We need help in the 004th district... The beats are far too big and there are not enough PO's. We need another beat per sector for starters to shorten up some of our beats that are the size of some districts.
The Beast is feeling his oats.

same spot as where hundreds of animals attempted to tip over the ambulance demanding blood. thankfully, the officers are ok. the same officers who showed up last time showed up on this one as well. of course there were some of us who don't know what a 10-1 is and just sat at 87th and stony securing the parking lot. certain things will never change and i just appreciate some proving many stereotypes correct.
I'm retired, but I got a feeling this summer is going to be a bitch.Whats wrong w/ that goof supt. sending raw recruits out in those areas on foot?God forbid but I see trouble on the horizon and I know you guy's do.Take care of each other back your buddies, I have two on the job.This boss is going to get someone hurt gaurenteed!
