I was denied another year of Leave of Absence while training the Iraqis. She is NOT working for Cook County and she is not working for the city of Chicago. Why does her Leave of absence get extended. She has started some BS group called http://www.alphagirlpower.com/about-us.html
This does not fulln in the paramaters of being gone for longer then one year according to Tracy Ladner. . Im sick and tired of the "chosen" doing whatever they want. She's been gone for a year. SCC can you make this a thread so we can get to the bottom of this. Different rules for different people. She's an embarrassment to our police department. She is lying about her Leave of Absence status which would be cause for termination. I know one of our blue shirts could check for us that works at 35 th street. Thank you SCC.

Ok the time due in the districts is getting ridiculious. Being denied after submitting slips over 2 months prior is "BS" P.O.'s are getting riped off from whats theres. When is the union going to challenge this nonsense of denying time to po's. Hey listen when your mayor puts a hiring freeze and crime sky rockets how is that the p.o's fault. Some districts after accomodating service men for there duty weekends and IOD there is only room for only 2 to 3 p.o's to take off or even put in time due. We need the union to step up and file greviance its nonsense. Why do p.o's have to pay the price for others arrogant decisions for only having 9,000 p.o's for a population of 3 million or more. Why is this not being addressed!!!
Tactical Barbie is on a Leave of Absence. According to Ladner you can only get a one year leave of absence every five years unless you work for the City of Chicago or Cook County. She does NOT! She does not work for the City or for Cook County. Her year is up and Ladner allowed her a longer leave of absence even though she is working in the private sector, Motorola. She is the biggest scam and should be told to return to the job or terminated.

This should also be addressed by our union.The department isn't getting any activity from disgruntled po's anyway what's so hard about opening every district up that has obvious retirees leaving.I have never been a dog ass copper but my stint in a shithole district has lasted far too long and I real don't care anymore.If the dept. doesn't care then why should I.

Leave the girl alone. She said nothing but good things about the CPD. Stop hating just because she took it upon herself to get special training and used it to better her financial situation. She did not appear to be a blue shirt hater like some of our brass. She was very well spoken and spoke very professional. Stop the hating and be happy for some one when they better themself.
If you were denied extended leave of absence, you may want to consider getting a lawyer who will subpoena and obtain the mass list of personnel on LOA. Your chances of getting that LOA will be surely granted after you see the names of those still on LOA for many years. Kline knocked the list down back then, but he too ignored the connected ones.

The rules only apply when you screw up and you do not have clout. Ronnie Lubberman was on a leave of absence for close to 10 years when those without clout could only get a year. Its Chicago, its not what you do its who you know or blow.

Forty-five minutes before you posted this, more than sixty people died in a tornado in Oklahoma. I'm sure you feel better now that weather guy, Al Roker, has more to report on while he's there.

Not one exempt has the courage to call her on her BS. All the Exempts are cowards to face Tracy Ladner. 3 years ago today this city and department lost one if it's most promising officers . Thomas Wortham would have been a boss in this department . He was a leader who had more potential than I have ever seen anybody in our uniform have. SCC there are so many great officers and people who work for this department. Although I always thought of those as burdensome and negative, I have realized that those are all positive and have made me, me! These examples are on the far end of the spectrum, and I wouldn't encourage anyone to act like I did, but I do want women to have the self-protection mental mindset and physical readiness for incidents that can happen at the grocery store, in a big city or anywhere. Dude she lied to the media. She is not SWAT trained. A five day SWAT course does not make you SWAT. She has nothing to do with Active Shooter. Nothing. She's a fraud that used the WTA and brought in Instructors made her members from WTA pay for the classes and she took the course for free. She also received free tactical gear for WTA and never gave it to any of the members. She is in it for the publicity not to better herself. She would train for a couple of hours in the class and then Barbque. Bottom line she is lying to the police department.
