Bloomberg Gaffe

Remember that soon-to-be-ex-mayor of New York?  The one who wants all your guns, ban all your sodas, tell you what to eat, what to wear, pretty much become your mother if your mother was a balding billionaire? Guess what he thinks about minorities?

• Mayor Bloomberg claimed that people of color should be stopped and frisked more -- not less -- while whites are stopped too frequently.
  
  "I think we disproportionately stop whites too much and minorities too little. It's exactly the reverse of what they say," Bloomberg said on his weekly radio show, in response to the City Council passing two bills aimed at reining in the controversial policing tactic.
  
  "I don't know where they went to school but they certainly didn't take a math course. Or a logic course.”
  
  The mayor was referring to statistics showing that a majority of serious crimes in the city are carried out by young men of color.

Really? We should profile? And stop minorities? Because they commit more crime?

Wow. We'd better alert Rahm and McContactCard. This might lead to some policy changes.

We wonder how many mayors are going to quit Bloomberg's Mayors Against Illegal Guns now, seeing as how any other person on the face of the planet who made these types of statement would be castigated and browbeaten by leftists and the media to no end.

If Rahm doesn't quit this week, it proves he's a racist.
