A Decent Bail Amount

  • A judge today set bail at $1.5 million for a man found hiding in a shed after being wounded when he exchanged gunfire with Chicago Police this week in the Brainerd neighborhood on the South Side, authorities said.

Judge Donald Panarese set the $1.5 million bail for Richmond Wallace, according to Cook County state’s attorney’s office spokesman Stephen Campbell.

Wallace is scheduled to appear in court next on July 17, Campbell said.

Wallace, 22, of the 9100 block of South Laflin Street, was charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault of a peace office and aggravated discharge of a firearm at a peace officer, all of which are felonies, police said.
Hopefully, a lot of prison time in this asshole's future.

FIVE vs. ONE: Another Beating And Robbery Along Halsted

Thursday
27 June 2013
1:47 AM
Chicago Police Department Case #TBD

A man was beaten and robbed overnight by five male blacks near Halsted Street and Newport Avenue. The offenders, described as having dread locks and dark skin, took the victim’s wallet and cell phone before fleeing southbound in the alley behind Halsted.

On June 13, another man was jumped by six male blacks in the same area. The offenders in that case fled after the victim fought back and regained control of his cell phone.

This morning's incident is only the latest case of individuals being attacked by an overwhelming number of offenders along the Halsted Strip.

Judge Panarese is a friend to the police. I remember years ago in court when he first made judge, the ASA addressed us as "cops". Judge Panarese gives a look to the ASA and says "what did you call them"? The ASA with a red face corrected himself and said "police officers".

His father, Donald D. Panarese, Sr., was a Cook County judge, as is his brother, Joe.

These are Hate Crimes, with thugs coming in from the Southside and preying upon Gays who have had too much to drink. But in the name of Unity and Political Correctness, The Gay Community will not admit that there is a problem until someone is killed.

Probably only get a couple years at the most. Violence against the police is viewed as a minor offense in Cook county courts.

"For the out of town readers ("the Halsted St. Strip") is Chicago's entertainment district". - 12:46 AM

Using your logic, Christopher St., New York City and the Castro, San Francisco are those cities respective "entertainment districts". I don't think so.

Parole Hearing for Cop Killer
June 27, 2013
The Lodge was notified of the En Banc Hearing before the Illinois Prisoner Review Board on 27 June 2013 for the convicted murderer of P.O. Edward Barron 14873 004th District EOW 28 September 1973.
2nd Vice President Frank Di Maria along with 25 Chicago Police Officers and a representative from the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation traveled in the early morning hours by bus to Springfield to attend the En Banc Hearing. We arrived at the Parole Board’s office, each of us identifying ourselves and advising the Board that we were there to support the family of P.O. Edward Barron and to protest any possibility of release of the convicted inmate. The case was presented by the hearing officer where the facts of the incident were presented to the Board along with the inmate’s institution record. An Assistant Cook County State’s Attorney reinforced our issues of protest and the inmate’s attorney presented their case. After further discussion, the Hearing Officer made a motion to release the inmate, which was seconded and a roll call vote was taken, with the result of a tie 7-7, and the motion FAILED. The inmate’s case is now continued for another year and will REMAIN in custody.
I would like to personally thank our Police Officers who attended the En Banc Hearing, John Gordon and the Memorial Foundation for supplying transportation, and to the many Police Officers and citizens who assisted with this protest.

WE WILL NEVER FORGET!

2nd V.P. Frank Di Maria
---

This guy failed to get parole by the slimest of margins, 7 to 7 We must remember to sign and return the petitions you see around the district and volunteer to go to parold board hearings to keep these police murderers behind bars forever. Our brother officer is still deceased.

The killer must never see the light of day a free man!

What ever happened to the Pink Panthers? They use to patrol Boy's Town and protect their fellow liberals. They would catch the thugs, throw them to the ground, and do their hair and nails.

Don Panarese is a very good man. Very pro-police and a gentleman that looks out for us. Knows a savage when a savage is being a savage. Let's all be glad when judges like Panarese post the bonds they do against these shitheads.
