Police Shooting

  • A Chicago police officer shot and injured a gunman who had fired at police early this morning in the South Side's Brainerd neighborhood, authorities said.

    About 12:30 a.m., officers responding to a call of shots fired near the 9100 block of South Ashland Avenue saw people running from the scene, said Pat Camden, spokesman for the Fraternal Order of Police union.

    The officers gave chase, and during the course of a foot pursuit, one of the runners fired shots at a police officer, Camden said.

    The officer returned fire, and when the runner pointed his gun at another officer, that officer fired shots as well, the union spokesman said.
Jagoff was found a few hours later bleeding, but alive. Good job Officers.

I am very glad to hear the officers are safe, too bad the offender is still breathing. More waste of tax payer dollars.

Saw a to-from 2 pages long where a PO by the name John C. requests that IAD/IPRA/Everyone under the sun look into what he thinks was unprofessional conduct by a boss at the PR Fest. Utterly DISGUSTING considering this officers history of being a total fuckup. Wait til you read this one SCC, it'll make its way to you eventually I'm sure.

AK was one of at least two weapons found on scene. Holster with ammo also recovered. Use caution at all times. This could have been tragic.

OT;
Emanuel also wants to tighten up the city's assault weapon ban in light of the state legislature's recent passage of concealed carry legislation. The new ordinance would update city statutes to ban a list of specifically named weapons and their equivalents.
The change would ban any semiautomatic rifle or handgun that is capable of accepting a detachable magazine ............
don't we carry such a handgun? maybe we will get slingshots or nerf guns.

OT: 100% lead pipe cinch to cure recidivism.

June 26 (Reuters) - Texas on Wednesday executed by lethal injection a woman convicted of stabbing her elderly neighbor to death in 1997, the first U.S. execution of a woman in nearly three years, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice said.

Kimberly McCarthy, 52, was pronounced dead at 6:37 p.m. CDT at a Texas state prison, the department said. She was convicted of killing Dorothy Booth, 71, in 1997, cutting off her ring finger and stealing a diamond ring that she then pawned.

Says the stroke who is part if the problem of why this department has allowed clout, nepotism and the "two sets of rules" to fester into something worse than those hundreds of DOAs in the summer of 1995 combined.

John C. was an asshole as a kid growing up around St. Rene parish on the SW side and he is an asshole to this day. He's another clouted dickhead that shoulda been launched for the job long ago, not for the departments lack of trying. When us in the neighborhood already on the job heard the kid was in the academy, we all laughed and placed bets on how many years it would take before he was fired or made the news for stepping on his dick.

Leopards don't change their spots, son. John is looking to take down the ship [or some of it] with him. That's what cowards and rats do when they're backed into a corner.
