Former Cub Finds Former Sox Fan
Actually, we have no idea if the deceased was a Sox fan. He was found naked in the water on the north side, so we guess he could be anyone, but being found by a former Cubs player?
- Former Cubs pitcher Kerry Wood found a floating corpse while kayaking in Belmont Harbor on Monday morning, a source told the Chicago Sun-Times.
Wood found the man, who was naked but wearing a hospital bracelet, a few feet from the west wall of the harbor and notified authorities, the source said.
The body was discovered shortly before 11:30 a.m. Monday , police said.
Wood is a big guy, you know. Anything could have happened.

A naked Male? Much more likely to be a Cubs fan.
Fuckin' Classic ! ! !
Chicago SUCKS
Newspaper article should've said "Former Cubs so-called pitcher..."
That was our crayfish bait. Mind your own business, Kerry!
Let's play the odds on this one:
Naked.
Near Belmont
Male.
I would have to go with Cub fan on this one.
Looks like the Sox fan base has been cut in half.
Reinsdorf instructed his kids to sell the Sox when he croaks. No doubt they'll be moving out of the city soon. It'll be a good opportunity for the handful of Sox fans to join the handful of Fire and Sky fans to actually fill a stadium. Their basically all the same fans anyway. Maybe Gately Stadium?
Double check name on wristband..... Could it possibly say Marmol?
If the guy was alive the pitcher would be credited with a save
wood is an official Chicagoan. find a body, get instant citizenship.
