- Even as fast-food chains tout their healthy offerings, they’re also coming up with fatty new treats to keep customers interested. Case in point: Dunkin’ Donuts is adding a doughnut breakfast sandwich to its national menu this week.
The sandwich, which comes with fried eggs and bacon between a split glazed doughnut, will become a part of the permanent menu starting June 7, which the chain claims is “National Donut Day.” Dunkin’ Donuts had tested the sandwich in select stores in eastern Massachusetts in April, creating considerable buzz online.
Notably, Dunkin’ Donuts says the “Glazed Donut Breakfast Sandwich” clocks in at 360 calories, which is less than the 390 calories for the turkey sausage sandwich it recently introduced for people looking to eat better.
Another thing for us to avoid as we head into the homestretch of our career.

It's been a long time since DD made their doughnuts 'in-house'. Now that they're stored in a freezer in the back room, I'm not too interested. Not in the doughnut, not in the overblown doughnut sandwich. Still want the coffee, though.

I've had DD coffee everyday since Cop on Top. I came for the kids and can't leave b/c of the coffee :(
Dunkin Donuts used to be a really good and fast coffee and donut shop. Now, with all these "sandwiches", its been turned into a very slow and poorly operated short order grill. They should have stuck to what they were good at.

all calories are not created equal. i've become very anti-obamacare ever since i started taking note of what the potential beneficiaries of the program are shoving down their throats.
This thing was dreamed up by cardiologists for DD. Something to do with Obamacare.

Dunkin Donuts was rated at the bottom of the heap for breakfast sandwiches according to a survey that I'd seen recently. Fortunately for them, they still have great coffee to make up for it. Their donuts aren't that great anymore either.
Just heard RAHM is going to put an extra tax of $1,500. per funeral procession held in Chicago to a church or grave yard.
If any procession goes through Chicago from the burbs the tax will apply.
I fed one of these to my dog. Now he has all 4 legs up in the air. Is that a bad sign?

Why isn't this mayor more proactive like NY's Big Gulp banning Mayor Bloomberg? Rahm should be protecting the calorie intake of his Chicago DDonut supporters - but i guess he wants all of us overweight and unhealthy. Hope they install a DDonut shop at the new 95th Red Line so I's can buy some of these!
