Someone who passed way more promotional tests that we ever have pointed this out:
- Prosecutors said that Hardiman was convicted in 1999 of misdemeanor domestic battery. Serpe said that case involved a different woman. Hardiman is scheduled to appear in court again on Tuesday.
A previous conviction, regardless of the victim, automatically upgrades the Domestic charge to a Felony, doesn't it?
We thought discretion was taken away in these cases a few years ago, so who's making the calls for Tio Hardiman? Reporters? You're looking for a clout story, here it is.
And wouldn't a felony conviction pretty much void the current million dollar contract with CeaseFire and preclude them from getting any money in the future?

So if you're someone with a million dollar contract with the city you're above the law? If it would have been some average Joe, there would have been felony charges. Two sets of rules out there. It seems to me that this was predicted by lots of people other than the Command Staff. The command staff all reported that the police department is fully staffed and crime is down.
I don't know the details I what happened in 006 but if the story is true that whole block and or neighborhood should be locked up and no stone in turned.

No Felony Upgrades are automatic in Crook County. You need a cooperating victim that's willing to sit 4-8 hours, and have Felony Review decide if it's a Felony. This piece of shit County is a joke! If the victim has marks and bruises then Romeo gets locked up, state law says so. But if it appears the victim will not cooperate then why would ASA approve felony charges? If witness does not want to cooperate no sense in spending the time putting a case together.
