Initiation Shooting Outrage
Oh wait, there is no outrage. No protests. No marches. No angle to play evidently:
- A 29-year-old man is reportedly recovering at Mt. Sinai Hospital with wounds to the legs, back and neck after he was shot six times while putting his toddler in a car seat.
A 19-year-old man was denied bond Sunday in connection with the shooting.
Esteban Sotelo was charged with aggravated battery, attempted first-degree murder and unlawful use of a weapon by a felon, police said.
The shooting was reportedly intended as a gang initiation for a 14-year-old boy who was also charged with aggravated battery and discharged of a firearm, officials said.

Regardless, it doesn't matter to these savages. 6mo, 20mo, 6yrs old. I'm pretty sure we've already covered the 6mo old and 6yr old shootings recently.

So why does the 14 year old get an AgBat and a gun charge, instead of attempted murder (and conspiracy to commit)?
Why can Springfield pass some true common sense laws -- for example, crimes committed by a juvenile associated with a gang are automatically charged as an adult.
In relation to mentioning the Outfit...seriously, at least the cosa nostra (for the most part) had rules against hurting women and children...even civilians. These current dinguses on the West and South sides just spray indiscriminately.

I'm retired. I carry outside my house and I'm a good shot. But if I have a grocery bag or a grandkid in my arms, I won't be able to get to the gun fast enough to defend myself against a goof who needs to pass an initiation. Just waiting for the market to get its legs, then I'm selling.
The good people are fleeing Chicago, Rahm. DO SOMETHING before nothing is left but the trash.

Most times I would agree.
But on the issue of minorities not taking any responsibility for their lot in life and throwing money at the problem is NOT solving it, he hit that one out of the park.
I'm retired. I carry outside my house and I'm a good shot. But if I have a grocery bag or a grandkid in my arms, I won't be able to get to the gun fast enough to defend myself against a goof who needs to pass an initiation. Just waiting for the market to get its legs, then I'm selling.

I already have another career, investments and income that doesn't depend on Rahm's whim. As for being an old-timer, 56 doesn't qualify.
As a civilian, I recently received a text message from a friend that described a type of gang initiation that is occurring at gas stations and on the parking lots of grocery stores at night. The gang members are targeting female customers by sneaking inside their vehicles as they are hiding in the back seat. Some will crawl underneath the vehicle while the female is pumping gas or is inside the grocery store. The apparent goal from this initiation is to bring back the car, kidnap the female, or to accomplish both acts.
As the text didn't reveal the specific location of the gas station for this particular incident, my friend did state that the attendant was able to call the police when he noticed suspicious activity. The suspect was viewed sneaking out of the back seat of a female's car. Therefore, I hope that this incident is not an example of an urban myth.
This was supposed to say no keeses not needed.
