- Police are warning residents in the Kenwood and Hyde Park neighborhoods after there have been three attacks in the last three weeks along the Chicago lakefront.
Police say the robbers are a group of as many as 13 teenagers and young men. Police say they displayed weapons or attacked their victims, then robbed them.
Chicago Police issued a community alert Thursday night after three robberies this month happened along the south lakefront.
Two robberies occurred on the 4300-block of South Lake Shore Drive on July 5 and July 19, and one on the 4700-block of South Lake Shore Drive on July 17.
Two to 13 male offenders reportedly displayed weapons or physically attacked victims and then stole property.
Kenwood? Hyde Park? But that's Obama's neighborhood. How can this be happening?!?!

I worked tact in 021 years ago, 20 years ago. We had to run decoy operations back then because of the many robberies that were occurring. And, yes, most of the victims were white people, some knocked off of their bikes with viscous blows from baseball bats. Some were killed. An off duty black sergeant was killed when he stopped to use a telephone. Black on white crime never seems to get much play from the news media or civil rights leaders.

Or you can come up the Clark St and Belmont/Sheffield in 019 where this weekend a good 10-12 people minimum will be robbed because:
- the redline construction deterred no one
- minimum manpower on the street
- quick getaways toward LSD
- a target rich environment of yuppies, drunks, out of towners
- a treasure throve of calls for bar fights, gang disturbances etc that will tie up any hope of preventative patrols.
But crime is down.
Jessie ought to have some more line ups at operation Push all the victims have to do is watch the controlled biased news media they might pick out an offender.
If Obama had a flash mob it would look like the robbery offenders.
If Obama had a son, he would look like any of these lakefront muggers.

Was on the Blue Line going downtown last week for a Daley Center hearing. I was the only person with a book...and even that I paid attention to very lightly. Everyone else was engrossed in their phones/tablets/e-readers. Easy pickings.
Get conceal carry on the fast track and start blasting these animals tray style.
Two Retired officers were in a head on vehicle accident near their retirement home in Savanah IL on wed afternoon. John McNamara known to many as Flash succumbed to injuries. His wife Barb was in serious condition. John was a 4th generation officer, his sons Danny(019) John(025/SOS) now CFD are fifth generation officers. John retired from 012 as a sergeant and Barb retired from 023. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
A wake service will be held on sunday in Savanah.

i really do not think you will have too many residents of Hyde Park/Kenwood applying for Concealed Carry.I could be wrong however.
Ok so hear it is, not going downtown any more , not going into the city anymore. Going to hang with my Buds & their wives in the the far southwest burbs ya know like Joliet Lemont, Lockport ect. No worries LE Friendly, No demorats. Can walk around on a warm summers night without a worry & carry with out drama.
