This is July, Right?

  • It's been even less of a beach-going day than forecast in Chicago, likely setting a record low high temperature for July 27, but at least it's not expected to get cold enough to set a record low temperature.

The high temperature on Saturday was forecast to stay one notch below 70 degrees, but the warmest it's gotten at O'Hare International Airport has been 65 degrees at 11:20 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Lows are expected to dip into the mid and lower 50s in some suburbs Saturday night, with northern suburbs experiencing slightly colder and southern suburbs slightly warmer temperature conditions.
Chilly day for the Ride to Remember.

Global warming strikes again!

Oh, wait. Few were buying that global warming-thing, so now they've changed it to "global climate change".

Oh no Mikey showed the State FOP what a goof he really is, screaming that Board members are pieces of S&@t. All because they voted against Lil Mikey on an issue.

Daley had the rainy summers now Rahm gets this. Crime will stay down and he can say his ideas are working, when they are not. Kids are still being churned out without Daddies and the Welfare Game is still being played.

Worked the streets during this late-July taste of Fall and guess what? The locals were hardly stirring. By the time it hit 2300 hours, the streets were less crowded than usual.

Of course, I am not saying that weather has anything to do with the Inventor of Modern Policing McCarthy strategies, because I am sure he controls the weather as part of his policing strategy. What a clever guy, that McCarthy!

Why would 'we' worry about one single thing that man says?

12.37am---anybody who has taken a geology or earth science class knows that extreme heating and cooling cycles have come and gone since the beginning of time.

Man made global climate change is a myth propogated by The Left (especially Al Gore who became a multi millionaire off the scam of buying and selling carbon offsets) who feel comfortable telling others how to live their lives.

I'll buy the light bulbs I want to use, I'll drink the bottled spring water (recycling the bottles, as I do with the beer, pop and other beverage bottles and glass and plastic containers that I can) I'll keep the heating and cooling in my house to what is comfortable for me--not to keep a tree hugging, hemp wearing, wanna be hippie happy.

the air and water are cleaner now than at any other time since the industrial revolution began. Cars are 20 times cleaner than when the 1975 standards took effect and that about 90 times cleaner than cars of the 20s.

The EERs of air conditioning units are 10 times higher than those of 20 years ago. Furnaces are up to 90% burn to heat ratio.

When India and China start to even begin to obey the rules that we have to live by here and in Europe, then I think we are doing enough in our hemisphere.

for once, he's right, i'm afraid.

Does it feel like a country really allows candidates and the pre-(s)elected likes of some of these 'officials' to run this country AND still expect to call itself a democracy?

Quinn should have been laughed out of contention just for being the lieutenant governor to a scumbag and simply claiming he hadn't talked to him in years... while they SERVED and RAN TOGETHER!

J.J jr. should have been shamed by his own party (Pelosi coming from San Francisco to raise money?)

Spitzer, Weiner, the mayor in san Diego, or our mayor who speaks only falsehoods...

Carter knows his party is stealing elections the Chicago way. In the meantime we start feeling the effects. Every level of government has a serious ethics and standards problem as their huge runaway "celebration at taxpayer expense" approach to running things sends our nation into free-fall.

We're done. We should all be putting in applications to work for departments in states whose communities demand more from government and actually have fiscal policy that protects resources, defends the taxpayer, and doesn't cater to race-baiting profiteers.

I'm not waiting for the likes of Rahm and Quinn to "reform" my pension and dictate where I can live, while the schools continue training lemmings, and the cost to live here outpaces wages.
In spite of the time I've put in, what's the use in waiting before it's too late to start over somewhere else?
This machine is never satisfied with how much you work, contribute, sacrifice, or concede- they always demand more, and then squander it on programs that enable them to keep buying votes.

Not every state practices the same corrupt scheme under the guise of so-called 'progressive' government.

I'm tempted to pull what I have before they 'restructure' and end up telling me my goal post has now been moved to 25 years instead of 20, and I'll have to wait until 55 instead of 50...
Screw them.

Global warming, HA, it's Global Cooling. More chanc of another Ice Age, than to be fryed, in the future. Remember, the Sun is a star, and stars will eventually burn out, in trillions of years. Meantime they will gradually run down like a battery.
