- Former CeaseFire director Tio Hardiman, saying he was “totally surprised” by his wife’s decision today to drop a misdemeanor domestic battery charge against him, said he plans to meet with pastors including the Rev. Michael Pfleger "to get more spiritually inclined."

Unsaid in the statement is that the queen he's going to treat her like is either Anne Boleyn or Marie Antoinette.
- Even though he remains angry at how CeaseFire treated him, Hardiman said he wants to try to salvage his career there.
He said if he can’t return to CeaseFire, he hopes to become an activist working on gun control, animal rights and domestic violence – the latter by counseling men who have abused their spouses or girlfriends.
He also plans to have his record expunged and focus on his future.
Hey, if Neil Steinberg can stay gainfully employed after slapping the old lady around, why shouldn't Tio?

Whether a wife doesn't proceed with Domestic Battery charges, i.e.: Drop, or not is irrelevant. Per IL State Law, the States' Attorney Office has to prosecute.
