Shots Fired - No Hits
- Police fired shots but did not take anyone into custody in the West Side's Lawndale neighborhood early this morning, police said.
The police-involved shooting happened at 1:26 a.m. in the 700 block of South Cicero Avenue, Chicago Police Department News Affairs [...] said. No injuries were reported.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately released.
Traffic stop gone wild is the report we got. No officers hurt, so that's a good thing. No bad guys turning up at the hospital...yet.

700 block of S. Cicero Ave. is in the Austin neighborhood. Depending on which side of Cicero Ave., it occurred in either 011 or 015.
Closing arguments today and tomorrow (Tuesday and Wednesday)on Officer Valadez trial. Room 600 There has NOT been a large turnout to watch the trial. Come show your support for a fallen officer and his family.

Really? Because I was there yesterday (Tuesday) and wasn't allowed in the courtroom because it was full.. A bunch of coppers standing in the hallway outside..
