"Turban" Durbin at it Again
- The White House on Wednesday disputed Sen. Dick Durbin's assertion that a House Republican leader insulted President Barack Obama while negotiating with the president over the partial government shutdown.
But Durbin, an Illinoisan who is a friend and ally of the president, stood by his story, according to numerous media reports.
In a Facebook post Sunday that remained up Wednesday night, Durbin wrote:
"Many Republicans searching for something to say in defense of the disastrous shutdown strategy will say President Obama just doesn't try hard enough to communicate with Republicans. But in a 'negotiation' meeting with the president, one GOP House Leader told the president: 'I cannot even stand to look at you.'"
Obama spokesman Jay Carney, speaking Wednesday to reporters, said he looked into Durbin's account and spoke to somebody who was at the meeting, and "it did not happen."
Durbin wasn't even at the meeting in question, but "heard" this story third hand....a friend of a friend. And how big a douchebag do you have to be that the White House press secretary goes on national TV and says you're pretty much a liar making shit up?

When Durbbin gets whacked in the next election there should be a referendum passed that he and his millionaire Lobbyist wife be banned from residing in Illinois.
Our good senator Durbin works hard doing the peoples work. He loves his voters and party. He will do anything to help those he represents and to make their life easier. Once in a while write him and let him know you appreciate his selfless work for the people and don't forget to vote for him.

This guys claim to fame is that he was Paul Powell's coat holder for many years. When Powell (you know the Secretary of State that had shoes boxes filled with cash in the closet of the hotel he lived in in Springfield)died Durbin took over.

I dislike this clown especially because he posed as a conservative for a few years (pro-life and pro-gun) in order to secure his entry into the state legislature and US Congress. Once he succeeded Paul Simon in the US Senate, Durbin moved to the far left without so much as an apology.

Years ago I met him on a detail. He approached us and told us in no uncertain terms he was going to do everything in his power to help this country get back on track. I was my hands seven to eight times a day and the stench of that encounter remains. There is a special place in hell for as Bruce Wolf on WLS calls him "Sack of Durbin." Rot you no good bastard.

Short true story about Phony Durbin.
He attended a dedication of a granite stone memorial to the 95 children and teachers who died in the Our Lady of the Angels School fire in 1958. Two of the victims being family members of mine.
There were microphones set up outside, in front of the memorial and in the background was the site of the original school.
A horde of media was there and I stood with them to hear what was said. Durbin spent about 30 seconds on the tragedy of Dec 1, 1958 and remembering those who perished. Then he switched to subject two and spent 10 minutes lambasting George W Bush for his Iraq War policy. With the exact site of the original school as background, he goes into a political diatribe about presidential war politics. I almost started screaming at him right there.
Instead I wrote a letter expressing my outrage at him using that sacred site to make political hay. And a few weeks later I got a shitty form letter thanking me for taking the time to let the Senator know my opinion of his efforts. That's it.
That's our wonderful spineless piece of shit Senator Durbin. I wish we still had Peter Fitzgerald as senator. He had class, integrity and guts. Durbin lacks all three.
I once wrote then Senator Peter Fitzgerald a letter and he took the time to send me a handwritten thank you note signed by himself in return. You don't see that very often from a sitting US Senator.
