An Amazing Admission
We never thought we'd see anyone admit this publicly, but there it is:
- On Sunday, appearing on ABC’s This Week with fill-in host Martha Raddatz, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) admitted that Democrats knew full well that Americans would be booted from their health insurance plans as an effect of Obamacare implementation.
When asked whether Democrats were misled by President Obama about whether Americans would be able to keep their plans in the individual insurance market, Gillibrand answered: “He should’ve just been specific. No, we all knew.”
She added that the whole point of Obamacare was to “covering things people need, like preventive care, birth control, pregnancy.” The redistributive nature of Obamacare, Gillibrand stated, was the point of the program; anyone claiming ignorance, therefore, is not telling the truth.
Amazing. And she'll probably get reelected at some point.

Section 1312 of the Affordable Care Act requires that Members of Congress and their official staff obtain coverage by health plans created under the Affordable Care Act or coverage offered via an Affordable Insurance Exchange (Exchange).

It is obvious that Obama is beyond any form of critical review, because to do so is to be "Racist", but when it comes to money there must be more at stake than mere criticism.

This whole health care thing is about another entitlement or free healthcare for the non-contributors at the expense of the responsible working, productive middle class.In addition, 1/6th of the nation's Gross Domestic Product (GDP)will be in the complete and absolute control of government bureacracies. Why not make everyone equally miserable and then clamor for more government fixes. By the way, health care costs have risen as the number of people who could not be refused medical care for non-payment rose. And don't forget Medicare and state governments pay as little as a dime on a dollar when they are billed. Remember all those heart tugging 60 minutes stories, late night comedian’s jokes, politician’s re-election campaigns rhetoric, and greedy malpractice lawyers touting the evils of doctors, hospital networks, insurance companies & H.M.Os. Well, we were all conditioned to hate insurers and the medical profession as profit making evil, big corporate entities. It paved the way, lessened the shock and somewhat rationalized when politicians in the middle of the night before Christmas after not reading the Affordable Care Act bill, voted on party lines enacting this fatally flawed national legislation. Democrat politicians got their chance to fix all the repeated talking points on bad things that occur in the current healthcare system with an East German Marxist modeled socialized medicine healthcare system. Surprise! Hope and Change Comrades! Hey Washington, instead of fixing this bullshit legislation nobody read in the first place, why not repeal the whole thing in its entirety.
