New York Madness

With a couple high ranking vacancies in the NYPD, you had to know the rumor mill was going to be in full swing this week. Word is that McJerseyShore headed east to see what's up at his old stomping grounds, hence the delay in "merit" interviews for the impending class of sergeants. We started checking around our regular haunts and found this article that made us question why anyone would want to head up the NYPD after the new mayor gets in:
  • Forget Ray Kelly, Bill de Blasio is getting his policing advice from the real experts — hardened criminals.

A group of 50 ex-cons, junkies and chronic vagrants gathered at a Manhattan “Think Tank” Thursday to describe what they thought the NYPD should be doing to make their lives easier.

The felonious forum outlined a clear “get-soft-on-crime” vision.

“I like the idea of ending stop and frisk. That was the first thing that was totally there for me,” opined Mikell Green-Grand, a 49-year-old former jailbird who has convictions for grand larceny and identity theft.

Arthur Castillo, 38 — who has been convicted for possessing stolen property and assault — said he would be much obliged if the cops just left him alone to do his thing.

“Cops won’t leave us alone!” he said. “Newly released prisoners are watched by the police and a lot of us don’t feel we have an opportunity to readapt to normal life because we are treated as criminals even though we are free.”

The event, which was held in Morningside Heights, was hosted by an advisory group called Talking Transitions, run by liberal billionaire investment magnate George Soros.
Ah yes, George Soros - "liberal" is a charitable description. And the new mayor was a big supporter of the Sandinistas back in the day. Rough years ahead for New York and the NYPD.

My ♥ goes out to the active members of the second finest big-city P.D. in the nation.

Mayor-elect Di Blasio appears to be even worse than Emanuel. Stop, question and frisk (SQF) is down 80% in the NYPD. Give the SHEEPle of NYC the P.D. that they want and bail out after 20 years.

At least, active NYPD MOS can live in five NY counties excluding Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island.

The "tipping point" has long passed in both of our cities.

For your children and grandchildren and based on my personal experience, I have one word:

ny lawmakers are in a panic.

the well known game of 'knock'em out' seems to have morphed into 'knock out the jew' in nyc [google it]

ny lawmakers are now demanding that obama needs to do something because this is serious.. jews are being targeted and punched in the face for no reason.

meanwhile, law enforcement get's one huge black eye as an obama goon squad does a little of their own 'punch 'em out, knock'em out' and goes ape-shit down at the jfk memorial down in dallas.

it's all over youtube.

radio talk show host alex jones gets jumped by the obama goon squad as 1 million viewers were tuned into a live stream. 3 million tuned into his radio show with international reach.

not only was alex was live streaming but what the heck were they thinking as just about every member of his entourage had a camera rolling. prolly about 200 protestors there.

the demeanor of the free speech first amendment crowd was calm at the time of the attack, then here comes one of the goon squad running up to jones them punching jones in the gut.

a lil girl sitting on her fathers shoulders was seen crying as dhs starting shoving her dad around.

looks pretty bad to me...and a mockery of everything jfk stood for.

Attorney General Eric Holder Delivers Remarks at the Fourth Meeting of Ministers Responsible for Public Security in the Americas

Medillin, Colombia ~ Thursday, November 21, 2013

[...]... In the United States, shifting crime trends over the last four decades have made it abundantly clear that new strategies must be brought to bear. It’s become self-evident that 20th-century solutions are simply not adequate to address the 21st-century challenges we face. And that’s why my colleagues and I have undertaken a series of fundamental policy changes – within the American criminal justice system, at the federal level – to invest in innovative models for reform; to explore new ways to ensure public safety and bring about just outcomes; to target precious law enforcement resources to the areas where they’re most needed; and to become smarter as well as tougher on crime...

[...]...As President Obama and I have discussed many times over the years – and as I have repeatedly made clear – the path we are currently on is far from sustainable. As we speak, roughly one out of every 100 American adults is behind bars. Although the United States comprises just five percent of the world’s population, we incarcerate almost a quarter of the world’s prisoners. While few would dispute the fact that incarceration has a role to play in any comprehensive public safety strategy, it’s become evident that such widespread incarceration is both inadvisable and unsustainable. It requires that we routinely spend billions of dollars on prison construction – and tens of billions more, on an annual basis, to house those who are convicted of crimes. It carries both human and moral costs that are too much to bear. And it results in far too many Americans serving too much time in too many prisons – and beyond the point of serving any good law enforcement reason.

Clearly, it is time – in fact, it’s well past time – that federal leaders consider a fundamentally new approach....

[...]... In addition, I took action this summer to bring about a significant change in the Justice Department’s charging policies with regard to mandatory minimum sentences for drug related crimes – so that certain people who have committed low-level, nonviolent drug offenses, and who have no ties to large-scale organizations, gangs, or cartels – will no longer be charged with offenses that impose draconian mandatory minimum sentences. Instead...

Democrats never cease to amaze me. The few normal people that continue to support the more and more radical marxist agenda of the modern Demokrat party should get their heads out of the sand. There are no John Kennedys in the party anymore. Everything they suport is predicated on either statism, wealth redistribution, "minority advocacy", (read anti-everyone else) or anti-Christian policy. This is no exception. They just assume any law or person that results in or arrests a minority is based in discrimination. Funny as that paternalism is hugely racist or discriminatory.

This takes the cake, asking criminals how to improve police operations. Genius. NYC is going to end up as a bigger shithole than it was in the seventies under this radical leftist moron.

Rough Four Years ahead! The Mayor is a former Community Activist and acknowledged Socialist who is an avid supporter of Spreading the Wealth of others to the Entitled Class. His wife is a Lesbian Activists, who apparently took time off from being a lesbian to become impregnated twice by the new Mayor. This is like a Democrat Party Wet Dream, and since she is Black they have almost every base covered. Unfortunately, she does not speak Spanish, nor is she undocumented; that would have been the ultimate winning combo. McNumbnuts would be an excellent choice to head up that Administration's police department.

Aside from the five boroughs of NYC, NYPD members can also reside in the State of New York within the confines of Long Island (Nassau and Suffolk Counties) as well as Westchester, Rockland, Orange and Putnam Counties.
No residency in nearby New Jersey or Connecticut.

As far as the election of flaming, knee-jerk liberal de Blasio to succeed Bloomberg, he could well be the NYPD's worst nightmare. There's no talk of Garry McCarthy being interviewed by de Blasio to succeed "Popeye" Kelly as our next PC.

The Superintendent made light of Chicagoans at CompStat Thursday when he said that "everyone in Chicago has a 'guy' , all of you got a 'guy'"! Then he went on a rant about how all of the bosses in CPD look first to 'their people' and ignore those people that never worked for them. He addressed an example of one good candidate for meritorious promotions that he had interviewed Wednesday that had been over the years ignored when good spots opened or tossed from a good spot because a new boss had his or her own 'guy'. He actually said that we must prove to the troops that only the best and brightest will be meritoriously promoted and that our new course must be 'Procedural justice and legitimacy' within our own ranks.

Nice sentiment from he who has just placed the likes of Karen Murphy and Looney on the list for Captain. both of whom got a 'guy' , Tracy! I Don't know Looney but, I do know Murphy. Really Superintendent , really, you call that the best and the brightest. A pathological lier who has fucked her way through the ranks and bragged each time about how she got here or there. Even if she has done a decent job these past months at 35th street, it doesn't erase the past; the incompetence, the failure to lead or gain the respect of subordinates or peers, falsifying A &A s and threatening the timekeeper when she was caught changing the books. Hasn't she been sued under EEOC? Something about hostile work environment. Didn't you say Thursday at CompStat that the most important internal policy we must pursue is "Procedural justice and legitimacy? How about starting here, with your Captain promotions, if you want us to believe anything that you say.

Word from HQ is that McCarthy is so upset with the impending departures of both Commanders O'Grady and Gorman that he won't even speak to them. He regards their leaving to take other jobs as an affront to him personally. This was evidenced by the fact that no mention was made Thursday at CompStat of their service to the city and the department, the last public CPD appearance for these commanders, a practice which has become a recent tradition. Both men have served the Chicago Police Department for more than a quarter of century, in fact, both are in their respective 28th year.
I supposed this loyal service deserves no mention because they have moved on, right Garry?
Oh wait, who else do we know that left a big city police department to assume the reins of other police departments?

The most insulting thing about this clown Supt. is that he thinks we are stupid enough to buy into his legitimacy crap when HE doesn't abide by it. Boldly lies and believes we don't see his politically motivated promotions and moves. What an utter arrogant tool. Can we find a new place to start a sensible truly free state?
Where the priorities of elected officials revolve around the things that used to ensure a civilized society prospers, like low taxes so you can keep more of your own property and income, and strong deterrence to crime by way of tough and swift incarceration?
Is that really so obsolete and "draconian?"

Are there any more priorities left in government beyond the next subsidy, abortions and gay marriage?

Is that it for big cities in America?

Does the democracy revert to mob rule by way of distraction and obfuscation, and bribing the masses?

More free stuff, worshipping at the altar of all things "equality," and ensuring no woman ever has to have another baby, that's the winning ticket, for the party that ruled out God from its official platform.

Now it's on to a nation that lowers crime by declaring criminals innocent...

Rahm will pass the baton to preckwinkle so he can run with hillary.
She is batshit crazy and makes obama look like a free market capitalist.
She wont be happy until there are maybe 1000 police left in chicago whose job it is to lay rose petals at the feet of overturned conviction felons turned heroes of the community.

If the new mayor and police chief listen to these sort of people, then NYC will be up for grabs, like Chicago. I'm sure the NYPD people on this blog can confirm this, but I've heard that the murder rate in NYC has already gone up and the number of guns found on criminals has gone down since stop and frisk ended.

Rahm, McDuffass and Governor Potato-Head would probably say cops should stay out of politics on the front page while on page three they would be trying to shaft our pensions.
