Flint Loses One

  • A Cook County judge today denied a new trial for a convicted murderer who alleged he was beaten into confessing by a detective who had worked under disgraced former Chicago police Cmdr. Jon Burge.

Shawl Whirl looked down as Judge Jorge Alonso ruled this afternoon that Whirl “was not credible” and denied his petition.

Whirl pleaded guilty to the 1990 murder of a taxicab driver. His case had been sent back to the Circuit Court by the Illinois Torture Relief and Inquiry Commission after a hearing on Whirl’s claims that he was slapped and beaten by a Burge underling.

But Alonso noted that Burge had left Area 2 several years earlier and found that certain details in Whirl’s petition – including that the detective had held a potato chip bag over his mouth – hadn’t been raised in his earlier claims.
Burge was gone for years - oops. And he's making it up as he goes along. How the hell did that judge end up on the bench? He actually read the file and made sense of it.

Thank you Judge Alonso for doing your job, too bad some of the other judges haven't had the balls to follow your lead and stand up to the likes of that piece of shit flint, and Locke and the rest of them.

So, the torture-whatever committee read the file and DIDN'T catch the pertinent info? And they had a hearing, but DIDN'T catch the pertinent info?

What the hell were they doing, watching Netflix and browsing the net, instead of doing their JOB?

Where's the prosecution for 'perjury' vs. Shawl Whirl whose claim/testimony is obviously contrived based on 'impossibility.'

And if (skin) Flint was the attorney on this caper, how come he isn't held accountable as well?

I wonder if Whirl was just confused when he read the Jays potato chip bag. He thought it said, "Can't Stop (B)eating Them!"

Welcome.

Hello BGA, Hello FEDS, hello BAR Association, hello ZORN!

Will there be any charges brought against the attorneys for this?

We've been screaming about this fraudulent system for years and for very strange reasons it falls on deaf ears.

Don't you see it!

Reminds me of the shithead in 018 that got arrested for burglary with his crew. Guy was well known and famous beefer and filer of lawsuits. He sued everyone involved in his arrest for brutality, civil rights violations etc. In his complaint, in Federal Court, he alleges that the police, all or most of them, beat him all over the head and shoulders with long metal flashlights of the type normally carried by police officers.

The trouble was, we had not carried the metal flashlights for a year at least. Everyone went to court with their department approved Stinger flashlight. Shithead signed the complaint and affidavit and swore and attested etc. on the deposition and was proven a liar. No perjury citation however.

No pile of money for shithead either.

Can't wait to see how little the Chicago media covers this one.

They catch it and they know it. The commission is really a lobbying group, backed, supported and staffed by Northwestern Law School.
They've become so proud and arrogant that they no longer have to hide the fact that they know most of their client's are guilty. To them that's not the point, it's to find any loophole or litigated mistake, and spring their clients that way.

This should have halted long ago with Aaron Patterson, but for some (media) reason it didn't.

I wonder how many other case such as this made it past the Feds and the newsroom. Makes you wonder.

Most of these cases concerning Burge are fabricated bullshit. Flint and Locke have become multi-millionaires off of the misery of others.

We've said it before. The press keeps bringing up Burge as though he were still here. Over ninety percent of current CPD officers were children, or not yet born when Burge was working. And the Sun Times staff wonder why the circulation is dropping.

its all about money, Flint if they ordered a new trial, and if the witnesses are dead or recanted, then the state has an obligation not to proceed only to new trial if they have a likelihood of winning, If they choose not to prosecute because he already served an extensive prison sentence, Flint then can sue the detectives and no one else, its all about the money

Wonder why flint and Lovey and Lowlife are not jumping on the bandwagon of saying mandell is another example of rogue cops, it is because they represented him and sued the FBI and CPD saying they framed him, also lovey and lowlife hired him as an employee, is that special more blood on their hands
