Rugby Event
Raising money for The 100 Club of Chicago:
This is a great chance to come out and try to learn about Rugby. It will be an evening match under the lights in the football stadium which should make it a little more interesting then a forest preserve or public park.
ALL money made from the match will be given directly to the 100 Club and they will be on site to sign up anyone interested in joining.

Will McLiverFailure make an appearance to challenge to fisticuffs anyone who disputes the toughness of a rugby player versus a football player?
The rumor that the Stuporintendent is gonna box someone CFD is all starting to make sense now...
Rugby, what be dat?
"With You Mate!"
Used to love that game, and paying for it now 30+ years later.
Good Luck.Great Cause.
I will volunteer as a touch judge.
Hi guys, I went to the Blue Rugby site and it is under construction. Is there a t-shirt or jersey I could purchase? I have a little cousin who plays for Ayr in Scotland and I'd love to buy him a shirt as a gift.
Played in Carfu, 1975 to 1979, when I entered cpd academy, an instructor told me the academy was going to be the hardest physical challenge I would ever face. ????. Pre McCarthy era.
Rugby is a rough game.
Word is GMac just signed up for this too....he truly is the most interesting man in the world.
It's always good to see some positive posts/comments here (i.e. Boxing, Rugby, Hockey, Football, Baseball, St. Baldricks etc)of fund raising efforts for our deserving first-responder charities.
Thanks SCC for also providing this generous and valuable forum on behalf of our, 'Thin Blue Line.'
For the question about jersey or t-shirt sales, yes, we do sell various Chicago Blue items. We don't usually sell jerseys but we do have t-shirts, sweatshirts, and knit hats. We also have a few misc. items that would be available at any of our matches. Sorry the main website is under construction but the schedule is posted. You can also follow the club on Facebook, or feel free to email me at hurley@bluerugby.com. We are always looking for new members so if you have any interest at all please feel free to reach out. Thank you for any support, we hope to have a nice event for the 100 Club.
