- A gunman opened fire on a home in the Austin neighborhood Sunday morning after an argument at a party, wounding six people, including a notable high school basketball player, police and hospital officials said.

The shooter left the home after a dispute with another person, returned with a gun and shot into the home...

If they have an issue with something going on they should have their assistant call CAPS and put in a service request form and let the beat officer handle it. These aldermen are crooked and greedy. Chicago officer hit in face by ricocheting bullet

CHICAGO (AP) — A Chicago police officer has been released from the hospital after he was hit in the face by a ricocheting bullet.
Police officials say the 34-year-old veteran officer was released from Northwestern Memorial Hospital early Monday. He was struck Sunday evening while trying to execute a search warrant on the city's South Side.
In a statement, police say someone inside the home fired at the officer, but the bullet ricocheted off a piece of wood before hitting him.

To my understanding, under law a 17 year old doesn't have a curfew. Doesn't mean his parents still shouldn't set one though. When I was 17, my parents allowed me to stay out until atleast 2:00am on a few different occasions I can remember. As long as they knew where I was, who I was with, and obeyed that curfew it was fine, and we're talkn' before cell phones. Twice officers stopped me on my way home, learned of my age and let me go on my way.
