Any dumps? Or did everyone move up again? Funny thing about that - we remember more than a few dumps under Weis, but not so much under this guy.

Maybe he is the puppet and there is a puppet master controlling him. The seems to be a lot of that, even at the federal level.
Yeah another district deputy chief, really isn't that the same district with all the bloodshed and he gets made a deputy chief too

Most of the p.o.'s don't like him either. It's probably not a good idea to bring him back to the Indian burial ground but I'm sure downtown has thought this out and Garry knows what he is doing.

Garry had nothing to do with the move nor did Stoppa's "hard work." He excercised a right in the new lieutenant's contract which gives current lts. the right to make a bid for spots that are vacant prior to the assignment of the new lts. Adhere to the old adage, "keep your mouth shut and let people think you are stupid. Don't open it and prove it."
Garry has only "DUMPED" one guy in his 3 years here,it was 9th district commander,he is nothing but a "paper tiger"

As for us here in 011, yes we are very grateful for having a Commander that doesn't bend over for the Politicians or Preachers. We are also most grateful for his part in forcing Lt. "Jagoff" Andrews out of the District. He was a bully and tried to throw every copper under the bus he could.
Also, now that the self promoting, micro-managing XO is gone it will be a breath of fresh air from top to bottom. We here in 011, particularly on days will increase our activity as a kind gesture for being our savior and helping restore Morale and making it back to the desirable District it once was. We will now start to actually generate some real activity for a Boss who truly appreciates it, is down to earth and seems to back up his troops! Welcome to the new 011th District!

I had an exempt move this morning. I grabbed the Sunday paper and a courtesy flush.
Exempt "dumps" are in title only. The pay grade doesn't get affected since Cline

Wouldn't surprise me at all to see Eddie Johnson move up, but he probably will be First Deputy if and when Wysinger decides to go. He is very well liked by both McCarthy and Rahm.

Which is why LT AJ went to the hospital because he got his Ass chewed for messing with P.O.s. I hope someone puts stoppa in his place and tells him stop messing with P.O.s stoppa was very hated in 11. Everyone was very glad he left.
I am surprise Leo S. wasn't promoted to Deputy Chief of Area 1. The Supt made a public statement that Leo was only in 7 for a short period. We'll, if a Caucasian can escape scrutiny in Englewood , then there should have been no problem in sending someone of non color to 11

Wrong again. Commander DJ of 009 was reassigned by McCarthy to Public Trans. and chose to retire. The only "dump" McCarthy ever did was female Commander LH from 003. It had nothing to do with crime either.

Wei was brought in to destroy "the old boy network," which was helping prevent the mayor from having complete control over the department. He dumped several bosses and more than a few more saw the handwriting on the wall and retired, rather than be dumped.
Most of the remaining bosses are clueless and will do all the mayoral ass-kissing necessary to keep their gold stars.
Ryczek booted to 009? Careful, he seems quiet and nice, but he is a true snake. He likes office cushion spots, never likes to deal with patrol and loves to try to jamm up officers. Not good for patrol. Another one that thinks that patrol is beneath him and he hates regular beat officers. He tries to be nice to get you to talk and then runs to read the g.os to jamm you up, that's his way. That's how he tries to make it look like he us worth anything. If you get injured don't expect him to be there for you either, first chance he'll get rid if you.

Questions from a NW Side civilian for our CPD professionals.
Back when McNaughton was named Commander of the 16th District many were pleased as he is an active community member residing in the area he works & knew were the problems were. There was equal disappointment at his reassignment after a very short time in that roll. It was implied the reassignment was due to his advocacy for more patrol officers in the 16th. True?
Then we got O'Donnell & many in the community were impressed by his tough talk. Others thought it just talk because he would repeat the mayor/superintendent's line that there were enough officers working this district & his statements at public meetings that there isn't a significant gang presence in the district contrary to several gang related incidents.
Now he is out after 2 years and we have someone most of us have never heard of. Will we the citizens in this district be better off with the new guy leading our officers here & can we expect honesty & effectiveness from him?

Not her fault. She didn't want to crack the whip on coppers in her district. But they lead the city in lowest activity in every category.

M.S. is truly one of the few good bosses we have left on this job. If McCarthy dumps her it simply shows his total lack of knowledge about what makes a good boss in Chicago.
