Rahm to Stop Using Dead Kids as Props
- Mayor Emanuel gathered Monday with parents and others at Saint Sabina Catholic Church, calling for an end to Chicago’s violence.
Father Michael Pfleger says another violent weekend does not mean a deadly summer.
“It’s up to us what happens tonight, tomorrow and up to next weekend,” he said.
Emanuel says speaking to the parents of murdered children is the toughest part of his job.
“I am done making these phone calls,” he said. “I have no words to say anymore. There is nothing out there that is more powerful than what’s in here.”
Finaly the taxpayers will be saving money on Rahm's cell bill, although we have to ask, has he looked into a "Friends, Family and Victims Plan" for his phone contract?

When I saw Father Flavor sitting with the Daley Crime Family at the White Sox opener it spoke volumes about the pastor.
Those folks are sooooo dumb , they think these politicians care about them . All they do is line their own pockets and give table scraps to the poor , don't work , have kids we will support you is the motto .

Why would rahm use a Catholic Church as a backdrop? Aren't Catholic doctrines at odds with the progressive agendas of gay marriage and abortion? Its about the children today but every other day its about the agenda driven transformation of America counter to the traditional teachings this church.
By the way, isn't this the church where McCarthy got up on the altar and blamed the N.R.A. and Sarah Palin for all the gun violence in this city? Rahm and McCarthy, the altar is sacred to be used to celebrate mass and associated religious activities. You desecrated this altar as a prop for a politically driven agenda. An aside, neither Sarah Palin nor the N.R.A. have been named nor identified as suspects in the thousand plus murders or several thousand shooting victims during your tenure. Don't you feel stupid now? Sarah Palin and the NRA are scapegoats for the inability to address and to find solutions for violence in the most urban communities.

Maybe the next Cardinal here will have a pair -- enough brass to hew to the written rules of the Church and break up Pfleger's "self-appointed pastor-for-life" Jonestown cult down there, and send him off to inventory pencils at some church warehouse in Nebraska, do something useful.
Try this -- nothing goes into the basket at any church in the Archdiocese until Pfleger goes out. All you gotta do is sit on your wallet and loudly say why.

How about every Sunday until he leaves. It's your church too, not just Phleger's alone. Stop the money to EVERY church and you will see this attention seeking cretin launched.
