Bang Bang Bang Bang.....and on and on
- Two people were killed and at least thirteen others have been wounded in shootings across the city since Friday evening.
The most recent fatal shooting happened about 1:30 a.m. Saturday in the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side.
- At least four people have been shot on the West Side since late Saturday morning, police said.
Additionally, Rogers Park, Logan Square, Bronzeville, Austin had 5...it was a mess:
- Three people were killed and at least 19 wounded in shootings across Chicago between Friday afternoon and early Saturday morning, including two officers wounded in a Far South Side shootout.
The shootout was one of two officer-involved shootings overnight. The violence stretched from Rogers Park to as far south as 93rd Street and into the Austin neighborhood on the western edge of the city.
We can only assume that the gangs are emboldened since the superintendent went down with a ticker issue. Killing season is is full swing. Someone put in the comment section that we are double (and more) last year's June totals so far.

99 total murders for 2013
yes 99 total murders for 2013
But, they also have over 7 million
people living there.
And, most of the London police (bobbies) don't carry guns.

Even with the big guy down and in the hospital, officers are doing him proud. With the bad guys in so many locations, it must mean that the CPD has them on the run. They can run but not hide. Good work officers.

If it's true that we are double, maybe the asshole midget will hire more troops. Obviously VRI reduces violence somewhat. Imagine if we had more manpower around the clock!
The classes of '86 have one more year to max out. Not sure how many are left, but I'll bet there'll be a mass exodus next year.
Anybody know how many signed up by last Oct. to retire this year?

Who cares? As long as we don't get shot, taxpayers and innocents aren't targeted, the only people that get shot and killed are young thugs, dumb ass criminals and their hoes. The only people I feel sorry for are the residents of Chatham. It was a stable, well kept area and is now under siege.

The young woman killed on the west side over the weekend was a taxpayer. Mother of four and decided she wasn't going to be living on welfare. 2 cops shot over the weekend also. I'm getting really sick of this whole city.
