"Medical Hardship"
- Former Mayor Richard M. Daley's attorneys say it would be a medical hardship for him to testify in the city's lawsuit against operators of the Park Grill restaurant in Millennium Park.
His lawyers did not explain in their motion filed Wednesday why testifying would be a medical hardship for Daley, 72. He was hospitalized in the intensive care unit at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in February after falling ill during a business trip to Arizona.
Not everyone got the memo though:
- Asked last week how Daley was feeling, his brother, Cook County Commissioner John Daley, told reporters the former mayor had been traveling and was "in excellent health."
"He's doing fine. He's in excellent health, and he's traveling and enjoying life," John Daley said following an appearance with Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle at an event to discuss the county budget. "He was down in Texas last week at the mayor's conference, and he's doing well. Thank you very much for asking."
John always was the idiot-Daley.

No corruption here. The former mayor's health is quite delicate. The stress of having to testify could put him over the edge. In order to continue to live, he must live a stressfree life of joy, happiness and carefree travel. Testimony is forbidden.

One of my buddies told me a friend of his sees Shortshanks at the health club working out three times a week. I'm thinking the medical hardship is his extreme allergy to telling the truth when under oath.
Next time one of us gets sued we should come down with an uncontrollable case of splatter-ass. That should get us a pass from testifying. If forced to take the stand, one should violently shit himself and state that he is pleading the "Daley" defense as he leaves a trail of liquid feces through the courtroom.
It's time for the country's dear leader to weigh in: I know Rich, I learned at his knee. There is not a smidgen of corruption in Chicago.

SSC i read the story about the owner of the parkside grill doing the nasties with foxgrove woman and then knocking her up and getting the park district lease my question im a worker with no political , and im trying to get promoted to either k9 or an et does this foxgrove woman have any sisters , if i started dating one of her sisters and then knock her up could i be promoted?

You need to start by being a police officer. You have to be promoted from somewhere. I guess you could be promoted from Joe Schmo Civilian to Assistant Deputy Superintendent. Or full superintendent. It has happened before. O.W. Wilson went from civilian to top cop. Other civilians went from civilian to gold badge wearing clout prick so I guess if you screw the right person in the right manner pleasing to her/him, theoretically yes, you could be promoted.
