CHIdeas
- Mayor Rahm Emanuel is starting an online community forum to engage directly with Chicago's residents and business owners.
In a city of more than two million, the chance to sit down and talk about important issues is rare. The chance to sound off to city officials directly may not be an option for everyone, but a new website opens that possibility to anyone with a computer or smartphone. Chideas.org went live on Thursday.
"The technology allows to create that community forum 24-7, throughout the process, all year round," said Emanuel.
Emanuel says he will respond directly to some of the comments, and have city commissioners do the same.
We left the link in the paragraph above - be sure to contribute.

"Oh goody. Maybe I can get laid on this site."
Here is a thought. Rahm, go fuck yourself as you have fucked every hard working tax payer in this city. Stop bleeding us as we have nothing left but to leave this town. The mumbler was a pleasure compared to you. Chideas, no! Chiraq seems more plausible.
LEO;s glad you have a contract, now if it only looked out for your best interests you could be good to go, but this is Chicago.
G_d bless CPD, and thank all of you who do this job to keep us safe.
Airborne All The Way!
What a wise mayor. Chicago is blessed.
It's not a snitch box is it?
Cause it sounds like a snitch box whereas once you "sound off" the city will track you down like a dog and then city inspectors and maybe even the IRS will come down on you like a ton of bricks.
Whoever came up with that name probably thought they were such a cute little snowflake. I thought they should have stayed with something along the lines of saving chiraq, ugh.
It is a controlled forum-- meaning Rahm really does not want to hear what people really think. More smoke and mirrors for Rahm to appear to be more engaged with the community. He is clueless and out of touch with the working class. I am not sure why more people dont tell Rahm what they really think when they see him around town. Sadly, people remain silent and ingot him. He rides the train two times a week. This is the best time to confront him with ideas screw the controlled forum. Make him uncomfortable and force him to respond. My guess is he will stop taking the train to work because he is a whimp and does not really care what anyone but Rahm thinks.
Rahm I. Emanuel wants to know what Chicagoans think?
Cover the parakeet.
There is going to be an ugly scene.
I gave them my ideas:
Suggestion #1: All politicians should make no more than the highest paid Union Employee.
Suggestion #2: Term limits for aldermanic and mayoral posts of no more than 2 Terms.
Suggestion #3: End all Privatization of City Business.
Suggestion #4: End all concessionaire leases of Municipal property. Pass a 75 year ordinance to ban future leases that is not revocable via a majority city council vote.
Geez! Go chow down on a bucket of chum, Rahm! What a fuckin' Chidiot!
Chiraq taxpayers, who don't suck politician asses, should flood the comment section with requests to eliminate at least 25 aldermen positions.
Are they going to disable Rahm' s delete key?
A little birdy told me acting commander Pena was very very nervous about this idea and thought it may result in a decline in contact cards and curfews in 025
But then realized that maybe he should email the Lt for a 7th time just incase.
Everyone should go on there and put "30 less alderman and hire more police".
oh this should be fun
12.41, I can fully see that happen

The city must have "outsourced" to a "consulting firm" for that name.
Enjoy it -- it probably cost us $75,000 or something.
...and of course Vanecko Sewer Cleaning And Information Technology was hired to do the web site itself...and they undoubtedly subcontracted that to teenage Russian hackers...

Meh...
Rahm's minions have mined the blog enough to know
who the dangerous "free thinkers" are.
"Why don't you guys sit down and shut up?"
CHIdeas is just one of hundreds of agenda driven
initiatives and bright ideas pointed in the wrong fucking direction that the itching and prancing, smarter than everybody else propeller-heads at Rahm & Co. have been bending over and blasting into the faces of working tax payers since they've blown into Chicago.
Here's a novel idea... How about some initiatives that are actually helpful to the taxpayer? Hmmmmm? Oh come on Rahm! It can't be THAT fucking hard!
How about m/f the catered to constituents, the new "catered to constituency" you're frantically waving over the southern U.S. border to replace them before the February election and m/f the Chi-Gov sponsored corporatists and media who are making you a VERY wealthy man to the actual detriment of the middle class taxpayer?
You know... The people who pay the freight here?
Or is your game plan to treat them like proverbial mushrooms until you and yours can vacuum up
every spare nickel that Daley didn't steal?
RANT: On/(OFF)
I bet they want your real name and address as well.
Here are some ideas: 1. Stop giving money, housing vouchers and free utilities to the rats. Have another city cater to these free loading criminals in exchange for government funds. 2. Have the red and green lines stop running at 6 pm on the weekends. 3.Give tax breaks to Pequods so they can expand.
Chideas? what Chidiot thought that one up?
Here's an idea asshole....try welfare reform before crying about my earned pension....

Someone was a victim of Rahm here. And since he has armed guards it's an aggravated battery.
Chicago should tax the income of individuals who live outside the city but work in Chicago.

And each suburb should tax those who live in Chicago, but work in their suburb.
