What the Bears are is a mighty locomotive of a football team. When they get their blood up they are an irristable and unstoppable, force on the field.

Hi SCC and kids. 10 G here. Just want to say Happy NFL Sunday and wish all a successful NFL season. Hope to see everyone on the Allure of the Seas Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship in Feb for a 5 day party. Luv ya. As I stated earlier I placed ten large on UNDER 47 in Bears game along with ten large on St. Louis -4 over Minny during my trip to Vegas. Lets get off to a fast start.

Did you see this article about the US Navy is sending its medical personnel to train in Stroger hospital? They said one of the reasons was the high number of gunshot patients it sees every year. Their hope is that the additional training will save more lives on the battlefield. At least Chicago's violence may help our service men and women. Welcome to Chicagostan! The Bears were picked as the lock of the week by a sports writer I was reading. Not so much...Bears lose by a field goal in OT to one of the weakest teams (at least thought to be) in the NFL. It's going to be a long season...

The Hawks were the only chance we had for a title this year. The Bulls were a dud. Both baseball teams folded early and I have no hope the Bears will do anything but lose. Hawks begin playing soon. Go Hawks!

Nothing new. The old Cook County Hospital used to see medical people from all over because of all the shooting/stabbings they treat.
New Years Eve, 1986, then FTO Tom W. of 013 was shot in the abdomen with a cut down M1 carbine. Jacketed rifle round of .30 cal carbine went right through the vest. He lived because they were so close to Cook County Hospital. They saved his life, I was told they pulled shreds of kevlar out of his abdomen. He worked another 27 years and retired as a detective.
I was a PPO and that was the first time I saw a police officer shot and bleeding. I had two weeks on the street.
