Casualty Count
Two and five in the shooting column:
- Two men were shot to death and five others wounded across the city Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, according to police.
- A man was found dead with stab wounds in the Norwood Park East neighborhood late Friday night, according to police.
Police found the man, 36, about 11:30 p.m. inside the kitchen of a home in the 5800 block of North Mobile Avenue on the Far Northwest Side.
[...] A second person, 20, was also stabbed to death overnight. He had been dropped off at Swedish Covenant Hospital at Foster and California avenues, where he was pronounced dead. The circumstances of that stabbing were not clear early Saturday.

The guy found in his house and the guy at Swedish are from the same incident. Guy in the house makes a deal with a female sex-for-money. She brings a couple of guys to rob the first guy. They stab eachother, one dies in the house. His attacker dies at Swedish. She was in custody, and still looking for one. J-Fled would have called this an "innie".
Insofar as the one victim was found in the kitchen, how bout self inflicted wounds? A suicide? That will look bettern than a murder.

Under Garry's made up UCR rules, they will not count either s a homicide. They will rule it self defense and not count it even though the UCR is very clear this can't be done.

I was in 016 once... It was closed so I left
1) Slow roll the heartland too from work and keep your eyes open.
2) Volunteer your time a couple hours a week with an armed bike ride, jog, or walk several blocks around your neighborhood.
3) Sweat the small stuff and call 911 just like the non taxpayers do to increase visibility and prevent the big stuff.
4) Attend some CAPS meetings and tell it like it is.
5) If you patrol 17 and 25 pop in hear and there and secure the border.
