This asshole is making $260,000 a year w a take home car. I don't know if they're also covering his home so I won't say. But he's part of the reason why our jobs are so dangerous and stressful always saying theres no need to hire more cops while we ride around and respond to calls alone w no backup. Lets also not forget the po's he helped like the two in 015 who were up for termination by the police board. Might surprise you by the number he has helped and was overruled by the police board. As a matter of fact he was complemented by the FOP in a newsletter for helping several po's

At first I thought about getting him a case of Old Milwaukee. But then thought that would be just a tad on the tacky side, plus where to have it delivered? Surely not to him at 35th St. as case full of cans filled with a liquid showing up to his attention would prolly cause an all-out panic, a lock-down of the building, and 'Security going to DEFCON-1'. So not a good idea, scratch the beer.
Then I thought about some BBQ Accessories -- after all what newlywed couple doesn't BBQ every summer weekend for their new friends, right. But like with the Beer, sending cooking implements -- knives & forks -- are out of the question, which leaves aprons and hats. However since most of that stuff has silly sh-t printed on it -- 'World's Best Cook' (gag) -- we're right back to the Tacky Gift category. So scratch the BBQ Accessories.

once again I have no opinion of the man, but every few years we go thru this you guys bash the active supt. when are you gonna realize no matter what city dept the head of it is there to take the heat for the mayor and be his puppet. It will never matter who it is, and I would bet anything if anyone of you were given the chance of getting that job you would also do whatever the mayor says for 3 yrs and take your pension and run. hell you guys sell each other out for a desk spot to]r early car.

You are completely wrong. I am not Garry's ball warmer and disagree with him on a lot of policy issues but he is no Jfed when it comes to this issue. He has come to the defense of several coppers being rail roaded for bullshit including two friends of mine who are no clout blue shirts in 007.
