"Not quite as much as FOP said"

What? I voted "yes" because of their numbers!

Are you telling me they lied about the contract?

Sorry SCC, I don't believe you. The FOP would never lie to us.

I guess the "few" people who tried to tell "lies" were wrong yet the retro is already less than stated and let's see how else we got screwed. FOP put items on the table that can not be used in future contracts. Cash those less hen expected check boys and girls.

How about a pension calculator? If there was one, it would have a minus sign in front of it.

Dean is filled with lies.

1 furlough by watch next year.

2 vote yes get retro by Christmas.

3 lets video general meetings so the members can watch it. But when posted on website its his version of the meeting. So his deal can get voted on.

4 furlough by watch was never brought up in negotiations . But because they needed yes votes they threw that in.

WHAT A JOKE YOU ARE.

You don't even know what "SCAB" means or what makes a "SCAB" as you say. Little hint..."UNION ACTION." Do you know what that means? You got some growing up to do. You sound silly.

I don't believe that. The new agreement is not posted anywhere I can find, only the tentative settlement. The full contract is not yet printed or on the FOP website. Where did you see this alleged 30 year step raise? What brand of single malt scotch were you consuming at the time?

Your retro check won't be close to what you expected or the FOP promised. You will get screwed on taxes

Good source who works in the unit that assigns vehicles says the future cars we "bargained" for have been here for months , just waiting for upgrades.

The man who basically said "fuck you" to us when the letter wasn't sent, suddenly wants to give us a raise , back pay and new cars

Dean, Rahm played you like a fiddle

---------

It only applies to about 9 coppers left who came on the job BEFORE 1 January 1976.

The oldest came on in 1973 . . WOW!

You wont get screwed on taxes. You will pay the same taxes on this as any OT. They took out 25% which is the marginal bracket most po's are in to avoid having any addional income tax due. If you are fortunate enough to be in a lower bracket, you will get a refund when you file the 1040.

There was no complaint or worry in this statement. It has nothing to do with me. It was a comment regarding the 30 year raise. Geez! Asking if anyone remembered the year. I believe it was around 04. Just another snot remark to a retiree.

The 30 year step went away on Jan 1, 2006.
Section 26.1, A, of the contract that went from July 1, 2003 – June 30, 2007

Thanks for your service and stay safe and healthy. Whatever good that is in the department today is only there because we stood on the shoulders of men like you, much appreciated.
