Do Tell!

Was this covered in any of the local publications?
  • Pam Zekman was told in 2013 about an Alderman very close to Rahm who had taken a 2nd homestead exemption on his investment condo that was listed on financial disclosure. This alder crook and his wife slapped their son's name on deed along with their names - and mortgages also and said they were living in condo. Well the son was away in college and they didn't live in the condo either.

The alder crook wife was selling condos in building for some shady Serbian developer, with a felon brother who assaulted a peace officer and fled country.

Pam Zekman was given sufficient proof to do the story, but she is unethical troll under bridge

Someone should chase her with microphone. She protects Rahm's crooked city council !
Why wouldn't the media cover something like this? Oh wait....it's Chicago. Never mind.

Not sure how this all works but if there is a story why doesn't the post write who the alderman is here. Prove it. All you need is the cook co. Assessor webpage wit the pin. Then you take the pin and put it in the cook co treasures web page for back taxes and the owner of the property will pop.
1. List the alderman's name
2. List the addresses and pin #
3. List the matching names on the tax bill.

It's not slander if it's true.

How fucking great would that be if someone who has that "I never gave a fuck about anything" mentality with nothing to lose chased her ass with a camera and microphone in her face asking her unbelievable questions.

Zekman also is aware of the scam whereby sworn command members retire to take their rich pensions only to be rehired immediately as civilians, doing the same work and essentially doubling their salaries. "Director" Don O'Neill of HR is the latest perpetrator. One day he is a sworn member, and the next day he is collecting a pension AND a salary for doing the exact same job. Nice work if you can get it, but you have to be a friend of Marv Shear. Inspector General, are you listening?

Come on, SCC, you know everything has to clear a station's legal dept. before it airs. Obviously, a clear cut case wasn't made to air to their tv audience without some legal retribution attached to the story as it was.

Look towards the 40th Ward where the eight term incumbent alderman is being challenged based upon his statement of economic interests (required for candidates) being "hazy." This could invalidate his nominating petition.

Will the incumbent remain on the ballot? Will the Election Commissioners do somersaults to keep the alderman eligible for reelection? Is this Chicago?

While doing the report, some honor students threatened her and her crew. They called the police and got a quick response. They all had grateful smiles on their faces. Oh, they'll beat you down and defend animals, but when they need you, they'll call you.

No one should ever grant an interview with that troll or any other news reporter without their own video camera recording an unedited version. Then when CBS or who ever runs the footage through it liberalizing mix-master editing making it sound like noting he or she ever said that person can at least refute it on-line.

If Zekman refuses to do that, say "Hey, have a nice day, I have another interview to do.", and walk away.

Shear is the SEVENTY-TWO YEAR OLD Deputy Chief in the newly renamed Bureau of Support Services. He needs to go, as he is showing signs of dementia. He falls asleep at meetings and forgets more than he remembers at this point. Once. during a staff meeting, where important matters were being discussed (staffing and budget matters) he was asked if he had anything to add. He briefly woke up long enough to chastise bureau members for addressing him as "Marv,' and not "Deputy Chief Shear." Maybe it is because there are those of us who remember that his sworn rank before he retired to take a civilian position was patrolman.

"Jealous?

Jealousy has nothing to do with a scam that at the very least is exploiting a loophole and at its worst is a criminal act involving defrauding taxpayers. And O'Neill didn't have to retire, as he isn't 63. And if this was legitimate, why did they keep it quiet? Did you see a personnel order listing his retirement from the sworn ranks? Of course not, because O'Neill is in charge of releasing that information!

The Chicago Board of Elections is conducting hearings to determine whether or not the aldermanic candidate in question will be eligible for the municipal election ballot. Of course, the mainstream media is silent. The Board of Elections actually has the complaint posted online for those who can read and it does mention the condo issues.

OK if you can read police report HS537152 from 2010 it will reveal the north side address of the condo building where this Rahm ally "alder creature" has seemingly taken an improper 2nd homestead exemption 2006-2009 on his investment condo, in his ward, in same building spouse was the exclusive broker for these "Balkan" Develoeprs, developers which actually made political donations to the "alder creature" before and after he purchased his condo.

The 3 adults listed on the late 2005 condo trustee deed (as joint tenants not in common) and their respective mortgages taken early 2006 did not live in this investment condo during 2006, 2007, 2008 and part of 2009. Yet the recorded mortgage occupancy clause says "will be occupied by 1 of the 3 owners listed on deed as their primary residence"

Now consider that when you are a broker selling condos, lenders usually want high owner occupancy rates vs lots of rentals or investment condos since Riskier loans.

Likewise, Buyers who say they will occupy the condo as their primary residence usually get a lower rate or require less of down payment too.

At least when I sat through the condo sales pitch back in April 2006, I had thought about buying a unit for younger adult relatives to let live there for a few years. I was told I needed 20% down since it would be considered an investment property and was not entitled to 2nd homestead exemption since I owned a condo in another ward and lived in it.

I wasn't about to lie on the mortgage and declare a 2nd condo as owner occupied. It's a crime to make false statement to lender.

So I didn't buy 2nd condo in city thank God!

Anyway, i do know a few things about many of the 2003-2009 condo projects in this ward, including this one, and few other wards, and simply don't think alderman are entitled to act unethically and play by their own rules.

Sadly, this town has some fake media watchdogs (not all but many are just on the machine payroll).

Proper people are entrusted to address the matter, but be aware Pam Zekman useless.

I worked with Marv Shear when he was a tact. guy up in the old 020. Great cop, always helped younger coppers. Even when he got the budget office he was still always willing to help a copper. Are you jealous because he's a bit smarter than you'll ever be and took advantage of system that ALLOWS hims to do what he did. He STILL helps coppers. You ... obviously never worked with or for him. I've sent Zekman and Savini plenty of leads through the years with actual paperwork and they've done nothing. The latest is the $100K-$150K salaried bosses at the DMV on Elston Ave. who don't have any experience with testing behind the wheel, yet, they're in charge of people doing the road tests. That's like hiring a principal at a school who never taught before.

There is nothing criminal about hiring an administrator who 'never did the job'. Plenty of CEOs never sold their company's product, or repaired it. Their strength is in moving the pieces around the chess board, not being one of the pieces on the board.

Now, if you provided proof these were no-show, political-favor jobs, that would have been different.
