About that Ebola Thing....

All the assurances the Obama people and the CDC were pushing?  Pretty much lies:
  • A team of prominent researchers suggested Thursday that limited airborne transmission of the Ebola virus is "very likely," a hypothesis that could reignite the debate that started last fall after one of the scientists offered the same opinion.

"It is very likely that at least some degree of Ebola virus transmission currently occurs via infectious aerosols generated from the gastrointestinal tract, the respiratory tract, or medical procedures, although this has been difficult to definitively demonstrate or rule out, since those exposed to infectious aerosols also are most likely to be in close proximity to, and in direct contact with, an infected case," the scientists wrote. Their peer-reviewed analysis was published in mBio, a journal of the American Society of Microbiology.

The paper's lead author, Michael T. Osterholm, an epidemiologist at the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota, touched off a small furor and was condemned by some experts last Sept. 11 when he raised the same possibility in an op-ed piece in the New York Times as concern over the spread of the deadly disease was increasing rapidly.

Less than a month later, Thomas Eric Duncan, a Liberian infected with Ebola in his home country, died in a Dallas hospital, but not before two nurses who treated him became infected, sparking fears about how prepared U.S. hospitals were to handle the disease. Public health authorities reassured Americans they were in no danger of contracting the hemorrhagic disease from casual contact with others. Ebola is transmitted by contact with infected body fluids -- mainly blood, feces and vomit -- experts around the world have said. This is why health care workers and people who had contact with victims were most likely to become infected in the current epidemic, they said.
So....the science wasn't "settled?" And the public was at risk the entire time?

Next up, the "settled" science of climate change.

Now we're inviting untold 10's of millions of 3rd world, illiterates with diseases that had been wiped out here and then there is the violence issue. It seems our government can't wait to bring us down to the level of a 3rd world country. how's that hope and change working now, Chad and Melissa?

Ebola dead are "hot," infectious, for at least seven days after death.

No matter. Measles a bigger story here now.

If I read this correctly..."It is very likely that at least some degree of Ebola virus transmission currently occurs via infectious aerosols generated from the gastrointestinal tract, .."

Translation, Ebola can be spread by a fart.

Lends new meaning to the old expression, silent but deadly.

This Ebola Outbreak is not over. Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea have more new cases every week. Until this outbreak is over and there are no new cases, it still can spread to other countries.

It is unlikely to spread to the US again, but it is possible.

Google

ebola reston

The Reston variant is airborne. They tried burning it out of the facility with chlorine gas, eventually had to tear the whole damn place down.

Fire cures ebola.

Letting that crap into this Country is simply irresponsible. If you want to treat people with that - set up a hospital ship, rig it with explosives, and helo patients in and out in negatively pressurized tubes.

If something goes awry, blow the ship. Sink it.

When one of the kids got measles, mom would say "now go play with your brothers and sisters in the bedroom." She put everyone together ensuring they would all get it and she only had to deal with it once. Those old moms are not like today. Things were different. The whole state didn't go into emergency mode because some kid got measles.

As you get older you learn never to trust a fart, never to waste an erection and don't pass up an opportunity to take a leak.

Evanston Hospital had an outbreak of flesh eating virus years ago due to someone in the maternity ward who was carrying the virus and farting. Women undergoing c-sections were more vulnerable. August 2001, look it up if you doubt me.

You guys are the street have to deal with more viruss on the street. Be careful to avoid these coughing mutts and other body waste.
Carry alchol and cotton to cleanse your nostrals and fingr tip under the nails. It sounds spupid but it helps kills this shit you walk around in, in the inner city.
Attempt to touch nothing like door bells with figer tips. Use use knucle.
Try and stop a laocal ER and use those scrub brushes in plastic bags.
When you get home don't walk inside with your shoes you wore on street. Spray the soles with watered down bleach.
Bd a warm or hot water scrub of hands and arms with soap for a minute. Use lotion after to curtail dry skin.
Eye glass wearer, disinfect the rubber nose holders and rims with alchol. The glass with hot water and soap.
Drink a couple glasses of water when you get home to flush your lungs of the trash/virus-s of the street that entered.
These virus' are bad and will get worse with the new people that enter the USA from the back door.
Carry plastic gloves at all times and wear them going to a call.
You get sick, see an MD if fever is high and stay home. Notify med sec not to get gigged, they send someone out everytime now.
Stay healthy brothers !

The people in those countries and some medical professional wanted Ebola to hit the US. It's the only way that they see of fighting a losing cause. Get it to the US and then they will fix it. Wasn't by accident.

Probably because lots of people are actually contracting measles here now, and its totally preventable if people would vaccinate their children.

Guys, rubbing alcohol and the like is all not the best solution for handling germs.

For equipment, the best solution is Cavicide. WEAR GLOVES WHEN USING AS IT WILL CAUSE CHEMICAL BURNS ON THE SKIN.

It dries very quickly. It's what all hospitals use to sanitize beds in between patients. No reason to also not start your shift, throw a pair of gloves on and grab a cavi wipe and wipe down EVERY THING YOU MAY TOUCH INSIDE YOUR SQUAD!

Same thing again, at your desk. On your cellphones, etc etc etc. Your radios harbor the nastiest shit anyone who's ever touched them. Picked their nose, had bad guys spit on them, etc. etc etc. $6 for a 200 wipe bottle of Cavicide wipes. Save yourself from getting sick from uncleanly assjockeys who pick their nose and their ass then end up in your cuffs.

Lets see, they lied to us about Ebola. Now I learn I can get it from inhaling a fart. For years they told us to watch what we eat as foods like eggs can raise your cholesterol. We now know that even that's not true as they now admit what you eat has no impact on cholesterol levels. So tell me why I should believe them when they tell me vaccinations have no impact on autism?
