- Boston police say Rev. Shaun O. Harrison, dean of a Boston high school, shot one of his students in the back of the head in a drug-related attempted murder on Tuesday.
Harrison, 55, was arraigned on charges Thursday that include assault with intent to murder. He allegedly shot the 17-year-old student “execution-style” on a dark section of street in Boston’s Roxbury neighborhood, just blocks away from his home, MassLive reports.
The student, who has not been identified, survived the shooting and was treated for non-life threatening injuries at a hospital. He told authorities Harrison promised him “girls and weed,” before attempting to kill him, authorities said.
And he's a "reverend?"

Okay, I know it was wrong, but I laughed out loud at that first paragraph.
Some revrun he is. Or is this just another prime example of many of these so-called revruns? Simply trying to pathetically mislead everyone by putting a religious title in the front of their criminal name. You can polish a turd as much as u like but itll still be a turd.

Go ahead and label me 'racist', but I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say this story has all the earmarks of one that'd segue nicely with the following thread regarding Holder's claim of blacks being over-represented in the Offender Column.

I won't even touch the whole being-shot-in-the-head-and-surviving part of the story...

He was obviously tutoring the student on the finer points of Urban Pharmacology Entrepeneurship.

'My brother is a good man and I don't know how this happened,' she told the Boston Globe.
Harrison's son Jeremy, an anti-violence activist who worked to keep kids off the street, was arrested after shooting his girlfriend in the head while cleaning his illegally-owned firearm in 2013. She was critically wounded, according to the Boston Herald

When I came on there were a lot of WWII and Korean War vets who carried scars of head wounds. A few were a little crazy but most were great cops.
The reverend was a big believer in the gun control movement.

Off topic, But I think it would be nice to see a story on the recent murder of Police Officer Robert Wilson III of Philadelphis on this blog.
I haven't been able to get this story out of my mind. It would sure be nice if the folks in Philly and elsewhere could help make sure his 8 year old is able to attend college. Likely the POS scum bags that killed Robert will still be sitting on death row by that time, if they even receive that penalty at all and not some plea bargain bs that spares them from the death sentence.
